Starting from 3.0 beta any executable can be launched through HD start menu. Older versions require selecting exe to patch.

My current game is on previous, when I am done, I will upgrade. After reading beta 5 log, I guess it is safe, did not see anything changing the structure. But not tested yet. If map starts, and dialogs working, then ok, let us know.

I've upgraded from beta 4 to beta 5 and so far I have no problems with TEW IV.

Anyway, what do you upgrade after maxing AD's dmg (and Demons' dmg)?! I have about 3000 Mithrils now and still do nothing but save for later... Don't really want to convert another town (2k Mithrils) because I feel it isn't really worth it  !!!

What about 11-13 towns? You'll need them. Also there is a magic shop later game which accept various upgrades for 200 mithril.

I havent reached the hill fort too yet and I wonder if it will work for few of my Archs...

I faught faerie dragons near the earth node and they had more ressurections than the +1 in their secondary abilities.
That reminded me of the ressurection issue in TDS with ressurection and infinite casts.
Though they didnt ressurect so many times to be impossible to defeat them.

I didn't cheat . I didn't print screen when i played. So I loaded save games and cheat to take picture. I defeated rashta, but i spent all money to upgrade spell, so i had to play again and buy effreet to defeat Zadar.

Oh no, I don't use overpowered things. The magic shop still offers 3 important things to those having extra wealth:
1) 200 mithril : +5 to all stats, up to 125
2) 200 mithril : +100 to Armageddon damage
3) 50k gold: 50 spell points up to no limit.
A mass bless would be a game break, IMO. I don't want any battle to be a cake walk. Tested carefully to offer challenge until the last one.
But there are many special events which happens late game, some of them are true puzzles.

Not sure if want... The only spells I use now are Resurrection (max), Armageddon (enough to clear CBs easily, just slow and spam it until they 're dead), Implosion (sometime against immunity 4) and Magic Arror (Cursed Ground). Haven't even touched the Air's spells... The stats upgrade is ok though!
Though I do want some mechanic upgrade like ML said. Doesn't need to be mass bless but, something like 2x2 or 3x3, with extremely high price of course (could also apply to Weakness and Curse).

What about finishing it first then tell me what you find not useful or useful? Because map is dynamic and changing every month. Now you have 5 towns and feel powerful, but AI stats will grow every month and your 5 towns will be drowned soon. Your armageddon is defeating now CB's but in two months it will not defeat them anymore, without constant upgrade.
The last battle requires 36 speed on every of your creatures, that means a LOT of mithril to spend on speed. Is like posts on mapsforheroes where people play 1/5 of game then complain the new artefacts are not awesome, but did not even get the combo which uses those artefacts. There is a progression to follow, map is very long, because size or other, at least 10x times longer than any other map I played. Things are offered with time.
Which faction are you playing now?

Eh I'm in month 12th now and I think I have completed at least 1/3? of the game, sure there are still things to do but I don't think that it's too early to judge things...
I played MoE Faction, Armageddon (about 1700 power) just clear most CBs easily. It doesn't matter that it can't one shot them, just slow, Armageddon, run and repeat. With Cyclops, use slow + forgetful, Armageddon, repeat... Some of the CBs have reached max cap (it's a pity that Dragon Utopias have to stop at 8 mil golds  ).
Anyway, I have finished the fights with Piquedram and that Zig (with magic elemental army)? guy, and still haven't had Sorrow yet. Did I miss the spell or something?!!!

Yes,somewhere you missed it.I am done with Serena and in the way to Wystan.And I have sorrow maybe for a month at least.BTW,did I miss the curse spell somewhere or it comes after Wystan?
The last spell I found is meteor shower.

Sorrow is behind the north underground conflux town, reachable after white tent visit. Utopias stop at 8 millions gold reward because the program goes crazy if I continue multiplications. 8 millions each is not bad when you can visit 5-6 of them every two weeks.
Best usage I found so far for shrines:
Starting town
Utopias (some will allow cave of gods in same occasion):
All caves of gods, their bonus is very important:
Arena, allows faster access to mithril market as well:
Dragons' lair:
Teleporter, it saves many days of travel:
Emissaries, saves 3-4 days of travel for every of your heroes
It will take one week to visit all those for any faction except MoE. MoE can make it in one day.

Shrines
Thats the reason I started with MoE-shrines!
I put some of the shrines near the different nodes,so to gain spell upgrades faster!
Well,I know that the nodes are visitable once per month and utopias two times per month,so my choice may be not so good,because of the 1 shrine per month ratio.
Anyway,shrines really help traveling!
