Oh come on, I just spent all Mithril on damage and still kill only 1/3 of Lich stack, that's why it looks bad

Have you bought the necessary skills(reduce defence for example)?

Sometimes I forget to buy a skill or to improove the needed stat/spell and then I got problems.

Yes I made it so you can't entirely kill the stack, but need to place one efreet. But on second round you have to. Galthran can be done only with devils, no need of demons. But damage must be high, I just killed Wystan on 4.3 and already at 126 damage. Faming the dragons cave for 5 days gave only ~150 mithril, not much. Got water bonus month 4, and from there it goes very fast with mithril.

IIRC,isn't Zydar a MUST to kill BEFORE Piquedram?

I mean,even if you just take the blue tent and go to Piquedram first,you have to go back to kill him,and result is loosing several days.

I guess balance is a part of everything, don't want to reload but 2 weeks of Secondary Skills (for the left Heroes), 2 weeks of Movement Bonus is a big no no, and that's when I already switch Orb of Fire between Heroes to avoid the bonus.

I only moved much earlier dwarven quest (month 5 now) and changed evil elemental one, so you don't have to keep archers until Pyree.

For crucibles, I am testing now, the problem is that I have to play full game because the part where some of them become dead is depending on how many objects you flagged, picked, how many fights, day of the game, so can't be tested just in one turn, they will all work if flagged day 1 for example, but not day 150. The latest version is on previous page I think, main thread can only be modified by moderator, will ask him after I am done.

Remember the time when Aine was so hard... Now I just wreck him for some reasons (though can't blame it since I have Morale + Frenzy in the first turn).

MoE seems to be the faction that can train noobs the fastest with Shrines and Slow. I don't know how can I train a newbie without the special slow with the new Arena, getting Expert Slow for them is still painful though, so Sal please.

In Arena all creatures get -3 speed in last version uploaded. To get slow expert on a hero, just visit the hut, 2 learning stones and voila.

Before arena, give him relics, make him visit the well 2 steps from arena (this is why I put it there) then you go. Arena is easy for all factions. Well, except if you want to fight 7th level monsters, this need MoE and tactics and most of them are immune so I wouldn't bet on a level 3 hero making the fight. But for some reason, I noticed the most experience you get from fighting 5th level dendroids, HP related.

Of course everything is easier with shrines, that's why MoE has the shrines and others not. With shrines, MoE is guaranteed to get level 70 heroes in no time, which influence the bonuses quantity too.

I think I have reached the horror part of TEW IV again: most of the CBs are unlocked and each Heroes have like 6500 movement points. Boy everyday Commodus moves for like 30s then after that a whole 10 minutes (at least) are spent on farming CBs/Arena/Caves even with Turbo mod on and every bank is cleared with 1 Armageddon. At least there are Special level bonuses compared to the old version (sometime even skip CBs with MoW).

Updated Turbo wog at same LINK with devils moving sound + fear sound + all towns turrets, all shortened by 50%.

Sorry guys, testing MoS and special bonuses + dragons cave completely messes the balance, I am able to get almost 4 levels/week with Commodus by only fighting the cave-week of mithril, got 3200 from, and more I fight, more I can fight after level up...

I stopped at level 7 because there is no fun.


Therefore: the chance to get relics now is multiplied by 2 but it takes away 1000 movement points for all factions but 2000 for MoS. Number of dragons is increased by 30% too. Previously it was -500 for all.

2000 movement per fight?! That's like quadruple the current cost, do you think that it's a bit too much (don't know because I haven't played MoS yet)? Maybe keeping the movement cost the same (500) and only doubled for MoS?!

I have to, with 12k points you can still get 1 level/4 days if 1000. Others will be able to fight it 3-6 times/day, there is too much exploit tempting with. Initially the cave was placed to give angelic alliance, not to use it as punching ball for special levels.

While I agree (have exploited Dragon Caves before using Shrines and Oasis, games really become too easy at that point) that Caves shouldn't be used to farm special levels, the new change probably still takes a lot of time to even farm Angelic. So how about something like Orb of Fire, if you already has that part in your inventory it will give something else (like I have everything but the Helm, then if it drops it will be 100% chance to give the helm)? Or add a cap, for example 5 fights per day, like the Arena?!

Chance of getting relics now is upgraded from 15% to 30%. Should be enough for getting what you need with minimal reloads. If I allow giving the relic you don't have, then you get them all the first day you fight...drops interest.

Nothing new, you could do the same on Dragon Slaughter with Sphinx. If something gives movement and can be visited unlimited number of time,s it will eventually grow.

The question is, do you really want to play zillions of battles against Dragons over and over.
