Yeah, they DO look awesome, Centaurs in H6 are one of my favorite units. Female minotaurs (or mino-whats?) would really be something new in the franchise. Tauren are an original Warcraft race with their own lore, they are not minotaurs, they are based on minotaurs, but what bull-men aren't? Also, there is absolutely no human-animal hybrid that wasn't devised before. What would you want: goat-men, wolverine-men, bison-men, elephant-men?

Just like minotaurs are playthings for Kythra I mean the dark elves.
SO, serious question: Do you think there will be other races among the dungeon heroes than just dark elves?
Probably a faceless or two but other than that?

Why so serious?
I mean, who cares whether a unit is male or female? Sure, a Minotaur is maybe the epitome of a MALE creature, but - doesn't that make it all the more interesting to see it from the female angle? After all, they do HAVE to reproduce somehow, don't they?
That's true for the Dwarves as well, of course, but H 5 did a LOUSY job here: no female Dwarves WHATSOEVER.
Literature seems to give reason to argue that Dwarves are the fundamental muslims when it comes to their females ... but Valkyries would be a start.

What do you people think about a feature for heroes game to randomize unit look or even gender on the battlefield? The system would randomly choose if a unit presented in each battle will either be a male or a female. You know like in Total War games, random soldier models in a unit platoon. Of course, this would only apply to units for which gender matters... I'm a genius! [laughs maniacally...]

i dreamt that the dungeon was released and that its heroes will have no mount, but they will ride a scooter!! weird dream but it brings me to think. will they use shadowy horse? necro already has that. will they use lizards? floating? scooters?

A female minotaur = blizzard, its started with blizzard and it hopefully ends with that terrible compagnie.
Minotaurs rape female humans to reproduce, how harsh that may be I really like that story of a female-less race that needs to reproduce on such sinister methoids, rather than seeing some stupid cartoony minotaur sissy with flowers between her horns like blizzard probably does. A minotaur should be manly, brutal, not into talking and rapy, also it should have HUGE horns, not little cute ponycow horns, ow how I hate blizzard for making all the children so addictive to their stupid non-original races.

Samir, the WoW cattle are called 'Tauren'.
And while they're based on minotaurs they're not actually minotaurs.
And we don't know how Ashan minotaurs get their groove on and hopefully never will.
Since Ashan minotaurs were created by wizards it can be assumed that females exist as well,
since they're still around a couple hundred years after.
You say minotaurs are all about molesting humans,
but aren't everyone in Greek mythology all about raping anything that moves and some things that don't?

I like it that way, rough bestical monsters, elves and pixies (not dark elves they should not excist) are for the wussy parts.
If we start turning all mosnters into wussies like blizzard did with warcraft (not with diablo) than the world of fantasy is at its bitter end for me.
But there is no other creature I hate more than the tauren, they are so ugly and pathetic compared to the much better minotaurs.
And blizzard told you that the taurens are not based on the minotaurs? I have news for you, they did, they just gave it a wussy name and wussy looks but I can't remember seeing some real minotaurs in the game.

Would have been interesting to see some factions
not devoted to dragon-gods ,not only Academy
(stronghold is somehow related to dragons of air and earth)
Like for example Lizard faction,
or a slavic-based faction in swamp
who uses witchcraft, but not magic gifted by dragons..
Or lets say faction betraying their dragon-god
like Dwarfs rejecting dragon of fire,
and changing to frost thematic,
to some new unknown power?
i would love to see more complicated Ashan
rather then simplified to dragon-gods "only"
p.s.
Female minotaurs existed in HoMM
universe before World of Warcraft
they were heroes..
so we shouldnt blame Blizzard , i guess

Darklord why don't you go and work for HOMM games, you do a much better job already, and you don't even get money for it.
I like that way better than this elemental dragon needs to have a town each bull. Really don't need to do that.
Also is that a bovine hero from homm4? homm4 = Nuff said...

The raping stuff is of course nonsense - if the rape wouldn't kill the woman, either their townsfolk would do it or she'd commit suicide, and if that wouldn't happen they would kill the little Mino right after birth and burn the mother at the stake.

The minotaurs just keep the woman in prison until the child is born, easy as that.
