Yes, there are informations about all factions. Bot kinds of elves and the dwarves. The information is similar to the one provided for other factions. Fro war-fare, diplomacy or political system.

There are som new images both for Dark elves and Dwarves. Not so many for sylvan elves though.

I don't know if that was intentional but it is clear that the ones in charge of the mythological / cultural elements had done their research. It is more than likely that they knew about the kelpie.

I do not know what effect this will have on future storylines but I do not deny the possibility. Still, I don't think that ubi would just throw Ashan in the recycle bin, not when there are so many loose ends.

i dont mind ashan itself.
as long as its just a part of a bigger universe
and story improves significantly for expansion.
but if ashan is a limitation of HoMM universe
that sounds too bad for me )
especially knowing that previous HoMM universe
was very rich and complex

Now back to topic
One thing I wish to see in the expansion is the option to fight bosses in the Duel mode.
I stated this many times, It looks so much like a waste that most of the bosses can be fought with only 1 Faction and/or one map.
The option to fight them one more time with a precostructed army, after you have defeted him in the story would be a blessing. (And since bossfights are, fortunatly, going the way of preconstructed armies it should not be hard to create this).
Just a fast relaxing bossfight if you don't want to paly an entire game.
Also as Elvin posted. I hope fo Dragon Utopia with a random minor Dragon boss. (Option of 2 or 3 dragons would be nice (we already have 3 dragons now:-P))

My interest in Heroes 6 faltered due to lack of replay value and those uninteresting DLCs, but a new faction is always interesting. What I don't like is that it's gonna take 5-6 months till the release and till then there will be endless speculation about black dragons and such.  I'm sure Hydra, Minotaur and the Shadow Witch will be the backbone of the lineup and just like with Stronghold, there won't be much surprises.

Thanks for making me remember about kelpies, I already forgot about those creatures . In greek myths there are horse-fish hybrids called hippocampus, so you can also base a Sanctuary horse on them.

This is one of the better things that DLC's gave us: preconstructed armies for boss fights (it's so much more interesting). And they can always explain the reason why your forces are reduced (in campaign) by saying something like ,,a brood mother has puked on a part of your army, and rendered those units useless!". And, as you said, It would also be fun to try different factions on different bosses...

That would be awesome! I like that they had boss fights in Heroes VI. I hope they make some even better bosses in the expansion.

I want a buggane as dungeons champion unit.
If you know your mythology/fantasy/folklore (and I know i'm much better in that than most of you minotaur/hydra/obvious famous monsters lovers) the buggane is some mole-digging based giant monster that suits with dungeon just perfectly. If not that than some monstrous death worm or Lambton the (black) dragon worm.

Must you say annoying stuff like that?
As for the buggane, I am pretty certain that it will never make an appearance. A giant worm, however, is possible for a Boss Creature, like the one we saw in Dark Messiah:

I don't doubt it. Pretty much all the Bosses are reused models: Breeder Queen (Mother Breeder), Ahribban and Azkaal (Pit Lord), Thunderbird (Phoenix w/ lightning bolts) and Dragonwraith (skeleton version of Daughter of Malassa). I could see a Dungeon Worm happening too.
Again, just considering it a possibility. Not saying anything is definite.
