At least when I try to tell people what a great poet he is, they wont reply "come on, he's good but he's just a songwriter" now.

For cases like this the Academy Award committee awards an HONORARY Award, usually for the life work of someone. The Nobel commitee should consider a honorary Nobel Award.
If there was one, Boby Dylan would have been a good choice for his life work in the field of poetry.
There isn't one, though.
Although I admit I don't know what exactly qualifies, I think, the prize is awarded for a certain "work" - which in the case of literature would be a specific book - or, in Dylan's case, a specific record...
That, however, would seem like a second (or in fact a fiftiehth) thought, so many years after the fact of Blönde on Blonde which you might pick as the prize-worthy work.
However, I don't know whether the committee should honor people they think should have gotten the price some dozen years ago - there is only one per year.

A Nobel Prize in literature is already a life-time achievement award. You don't get it for a specific work.

Right. I should have known it from the Böll and Grass awards. And the Golding, probably.

I've read enough around here to know many folks are tired of LotRs
but this is some pretty awesome artwork and it has some good tunes from the soundtracks in the background.
This guy is one heck of a fantasy artist.

I have searching for my musics, and I have found the ice song!
===== the image was there =====
"Rojevy Seropy " - youtube wmv
The song "Rojevy Seropy" ("The purple syrups" - as I think) is ok! That is about politics and stuff, of course I am mostly disagree, but still. The "Boombox" - is a bloody hell old band from RoU that is make their song on Ukrainian and Russian languages mostly is a total nonsense - but some of those songs, well, not a full nonsense as I thought in beginning . I need to find a discography of this band...

Can you stop IMAGESPAM in OSM? It's freaking annoying. And replacing them with a thousand smileys doesn't make it better.
Thanks in advance!

Scars On Broadway - They Say, youtube stuff,, I have not listen this on youtube, so there may be a sux version of a song.

No, your image spam is constant and is irritating. And this is not a low size.

Jesus... those image above even smaller than my avatar. Of course my "image-spam" is constant, for an example I have an image even in my signature.
But if talkin about post field - I have described in the topic about Pop-Culture, why my images is not so big evil as you said, mr Galaad. Well, one of my browsing program cannot even download images - "lynx", second program that I using, can easily "swithc off" images - "Tor BB" , just type about:config in your "address string" and the look for a program permissions.default.image ,and change it's stuff to "2" instead of default "1".

I didn't like where she ended up. Yngwie Malmsteen kind of stuff... All shallow speed tricks and no nuance of emotion. And when it comes to a little kid playing Hotel California on acoustic guitar, this fella will always be my favorite.

Err - no. The "shallow speed tricks" is what you can see when she switches to the electric. But after that it's everything but shallow. There is nothing shallow in the way she controls her instrument, I can assure you that, and I think she plays For the Love of God better than Steve Vai, simply because there are no "show moves" (something Steve Vai is rather fond of).
I mean - what you see is a child becoming a youth, working on her technique over the years, that is, picking very difficult pieces played on electric guitar finding out what to play and HOW (the How is important when you want to sound like the original) which means, it's not only about playing the correct notes in the correct order and tempo, it's also about playing them in a certain way, so that the guitar produces a certain sound.
To say she plays it emotionless, is first only a reaction on seeing her playi seemingly "unmoved", and is secondly doing her wrong because of her age. Give her another 10 years, and then look at the emotional part again.
At this stage it's all about mastering the instrument, and I'd say that she is on a pretty good way. I'd expect her to try her hands on Jeff Beck's technique as well, and I'm sure she'll eventually produce quite spectacular things on the guitar.
