Here you have Haven townscreen in better quality.
And you know there are latrines in castle/capitol, right?
Usually wastes go right down to moat but in Ashan we have water magic to wash them out.

Looks scattered like every townscreen, the only difference is that here it fits with the concept of a village. Ridiculous building sizes, like Behemoth's lair being one of the smallest buildings... that's a large problem here. 
Why can't they go for these amazing 3D townscreens, like in Heroes V? I'd reckon even "Arachnopolis" would be better received if its somewhat ridiculous spider-legged townscreen was as monumental as towns from Heroes V.

I would like 3D Town screens just like everybody else but they said it's too expensive to make it and it is awesome eye candy but I would rather want them to focus more on fixing skillwheel and other gameplay features than 3D TS, although I was thinking if they like to reuse stuff from previous games, why not reuse H5 TS ? you are saving money and everybody likes them, win-win situation 
I like this Stronghold Townscreen the most because it doesn't follows the same pattern, finally TS which doesn't shows the city from the side, maybe not completly but you can see 'enter the town' look and it also covers the whole screen not only the center and right side of the image and it makes me optimistic for even better Sylvan and Dungeon TS, if they learned from their mistakes during making new TS

For me this is very bad. Each building lacks an overall vision. Obviously there's an overall idea for the town, but the buildings end up completely blending together because none of them stand out from each other - there's just a tent, another tent, yet another tent, and then one more tent, etc. There's nothing spectacular about any of them, and nothing that signifies what they do. The Behemoth Crack can only be seen as a joke - I mean, it looks like a tool rack, how could one conceivably hire monstrous creatures there? The dwelling placement is completely off, with the Centaur dwelling sitting on top of the cliff while the Wyvern dwelling is sitting at the very bottom of town - I mean, are these people purposely trying to make it bad? Compare to Heroes 3 Stronghold which was one of my least favorite town screens, yet here you clearly could identify dwellings of the important creatures - Thunderbird, Cyclops and Behemoth - and these structures have iconic and clear symbolism as to what they do.
Also, H5 Stronghold worked because even though that was also just a camp of tents, those were not literal tents like the ones you'd see on a campsite, but iconic tents, with different shapes and symbolism and most importantly epic scale - look at the tents compared to the surrounding trees!

to this day, h3 stronghold is what i consider the greatest townscreen of the series, partly because of what you said but also because it so expertly conveys it's atmosphere through visuals and music. You feel how powerful and brutal yet not mindless the faction is way more than any other faction in any game simply because it just gets everything right. is it the best looking? no. the best sounding? no. but god damn it it it's the best screen simply because it just blends everything it has to become greater than the sum of its parts.
now? now it's just a cliff with some rocks and fabric on where it used to be a rough pass with a sizable population of beasts and men and soldiers. is there even a waterfall? Caves, towers, mountains... all these were huge and menacing yet at the same time protective of the people living below. now it's just a camp in some dessert with cactus's for defense. it doesn't even have the nerve to add caves or true nests.
yeah, i'm bitter. does it show?
EDIT:
the gate is just some tied-together sticks. what. the flying. snow. how do you mess up something as simple as a gate?

If you ask me, they all pale in comparison to H5. H5's townscreens are the only ones I can seriously name townscreens.
And I would say H3 MO-screen = H7 MO-screen. Both are nothing more than a bunch of buildings and both will have wonderful music accompanying them.
