I suspect it also works with debilitating strike from your warmachine but haven't tried it yet.

not a bug, but opinion

whats the point of having such detailed creatures models and heroes models when you look at everything from far away and you can't zoom in as much as in HV/HVI to look at them closely, you can't see creature in recruitment like in HV,

You should be able to zoom in And zoom out

the battlefield should be closer and if somebody wants to see the surroundings of the battlefield he could zoom out but mainly set as closer, or the creatures could be bigger because every time battle begins I have to zoom in

If you want to look at the creature models the only time (or I don't know about something ) is during tactic phase of the battle

What really bugs me is the movement of the heroes... It just short, way too short. Unless you are on a road. If you go exploring and gathering, you only get a few steps at most...

Put your "Cool-cam" on a higher setting. The number represents the chance of getting an actionshot closeup on your units during battle. So coolcam on 20 has a 20% chance, 50=50%.
Though I do support your desire for a decent creature screen where stats, abilities, the model and lore may be studied in detail outside of battle.

For now I have turned off coolcam completely because the moving and attacking animations are so wrong, that it is really nothing impressive to look at

Yes, creature screen should be in game, something like in HV, I mean it can't be hard to make something like this when you already have all the elements, you just have to put it in one place

For similar creatures(sentinel, crossbowmen, cavalier) they are. But they've added some new ones. The death animation of the Cavalier is new, for example and I like this one.
Also I have experienced no problems with any animations. In fact, despite all the beta-teething problems, this client is already more stable that H6 ever was for me. In H6, I rarely could for longer than 30 min, before the game froze. Yesterday I put in a 3 hour playsession in the beta-client no problem.

The most LOL is that enemy hero is also surrounded by walls and buildings. Where UBI seen such "siege" (or town design)?


The actual castle where there are many layers of walls?


Why there is a need for many layers, if enemy easily passes them all?


I suggest you study a little about real castle structure instead of asking such question.

Several layers of wall was not uncommon in the olden days. Still doesn't explain how the attackers managed to actually set up a siege inside the freaking town and why there's a moot in the middle of town.

Good day all

It's been a while, but the Deck is still around...

Have been playing the Beta now and am quite enjoying it. Yes it's a little buggy but I like:
- Large ATB bar
- Short, uncomplicated descriptions of spells, abilities, etc. (H6 was a nightmare reading everything)
- Flanking on the battle field
- Ease of getting to building screen in town (on map)
- Zooming out on the map is further than in previous series
- Building options more than in previous series

What I don't like has to do with graphics for now:
- Seem very dull/grey (no contrast or gamma)
- Can't zoom in too much like previous games (why bother with high-res units, etc.)
- Flags above hero's head still too big and get's in the way of view sometimes.
- Bring back the right-click to pan the map (H5)!

One question, I have a spare beta key for my mate RedEmp, how does he install the beta without paying for it / pre-ordering it?
