Crashes started yesterday for me. Now I can't neither start the game.
It crash when consumes all available RAM few seconds after I push the play button/link on uplay.
I have an old computer but it was working well until saturday.

I wish the two champion dwellings didn't have the same prerequisites... I mean, wouldn't it be more interesting if Swrdmaster needed Guardian dwelling and not the Abbot one instead? makes more sense to me...

Agreed, would both have made sense and offered a bit of variation in build plan.

It is possible to do such a thing. Some choosable buildings in other factions have different prerequisites, so why not?

So I managed to snatch a beta key, but how do I actually submit feedback? On the beta page of their site there's just a button to report bugs and the link in the FAQ links to the same page. Or should I just paste my list into the bug report?

Anyway I am quite curious of how will they fix and polish the game with just a month until release with so many problems, especially the UI functionality.

You can post it here or create a thread on an official Ubisoft forum. The best way would be by doing both. Also, I would reccomend separating bugs from other comments.

The area of control system works fantastically! this is how it should've been done from the start. Good job, Limbic! Really like it along with the plunder mine nor being a skill.

Mm? What is good about it? Want to know, since I didn't play beta. Strange though, since there are many skills and abilities tied to Area of Control alone.

there are a lot of good things, and area control is only one of them.

btw, i dont see anyone mention about this, but fortifications/local guards are awesome! i really like what they bringed in h7 about this.

with every fortification level(3 levels), town adds additional troops on daily time. for example heaven rises  2 archers/day+2 pikeman/day in 1st level fortification, and this has a max limit. so when attacked, you may have extra +50 archers/+50 pikeman to defend town... 2nd level fortification proived elites... plus to this system, there are also old-good-shooting-towers. giving example for academy, after "level 2 fortifications", you can build "lightning pyramids" to add 2 shooting towers... you think this is over? its not

this whole system is connected to each other even more. for example, a governing skill in defence tree, caps max numbers of local guards even higher... or warfere skills & archery skills boost archery towers...  

edit: sorry kiryu133, after i read your post, i fixed mine.. about fortification mentioning, i have to admit i didnt read much of what has written in last week.

I agree the defensive features look interesting. The town build menu is an utter an complete mess, however, and needs some serious work to become easier to overview.

I need to try a game with a grandmaster diplomacy and at least tier 2 economy hero...

The skills are one of the reasons. Basically, It's not just "you can't take my mines, nyeh, nyeh" as they were in H6 since you can get bonuses and if it's a fort you will remove the area of control and have to spend resources to protect said mines. It also allows you to hire creatures from nearby external dwellings instantly (and even upgrade them). It adds a lot of depth and stops enemies from just sending some snow intern to take over a bunch of stuff but doesn't stop that tactic from working at some level thanks to plundering and such.

3rd provides champions..


I've mentioned it and said I love it. LVL three fortifications do not add champions though. Only a haven unique building does that. LVL 3 simply strengthens the walls.

Yeah, I can't believe they are serious with that building screen. Looks awful and all over the place.
