AlexSpl said: The thuth is that Russia will win even if NATO will provide its weapons. Do you really think that a country that can beat even the US can be defeated by Ukrainian forces? So, what both side are waiting for? Close the sky, no we can't, otherwise we'll go war against Russia. Are you afraid the war against Russia? No, we are just not ready. But we can always wait. The current situation in a nutshell.
Of course, the Ukrainian people treat NATO as traitors. They just won't say about it aloud.
Not sure how did you come to such resolution. Current analysis shows that Ukraine will repel Russia inviasion with EU support. It will be costy but Russian army is so bad, just like full of clay soldiers. No motivation to die like a dasstards.
Also is expected that, if war will be in full effect, russia will bankrupt around month from now on.
So Russia is loosing and it will lost. Now it's question how much. And how the UA will come out of this conflict. So far it's looking like with high casualties, extreme cost, destroyed infrastructures and such. Because, rocketing towns, as well as occupying nuclear power plants, is forbidden by Geneva convenction.
Ideally Putin will come to Haag and remain here indefinitely long. And Russia should pay reparation and be limited in army. This end game should happen but we are far to say for sure.

Russia and Ukraine are neighbors, and Russia has much stronger military power. So there will be no problems to resupply its army, if the current forces fail. Russia even might go angry and declare a general mobilization. And the EU support is very limited, and they can't agree even with themselves. For example, Poland will provide Ukraine its fighter jets, but demands new ones from the US. So it will take some time to deliver those jets, while Russia can deliver its reserve military without any delay.

Don't know man, these are some clichés, "in 21th century we negotiate", "Geneva agreements prohibit occupying nuclear plants and bombing towns" "Russia army is bad", now "current analysis show Ukraine wins".
All this is nice story, maybe it shows your positive and compassionate character. But nothing of that ever happened. And "current analysis" is just propaganda, from both sides.
Geopolitical conflicts were never negotiated peacefully, Geneva agreements are never respected because you just can't win a war if you go on tiptoes with a Tibetan Monk attitude, then even major powers armies struggle to blitz wars because they are just not doable. If you want to win fast, you drop nuclear bomb then it's done. If you don't do it, it means you care about civilian causalities, therefore your enemy will exploit this pattern - civilians will be used to shield military structures, in schools, hospitals, plants and so on. We observed such tactics in Syrian, Iraq and Libyan war, why would we think Ukraine is not doing same.
Putin was convinced of Ukrainians giving up within 24 hours because they just love him and everyone on the planet must secretly share his desire of recreating the Empire. Didn't go that way, now he has to change plans for either a long attrition war, or let Ukraine alone and shield only the two pro-Russian Republics in the east.
So far, I wouldn't trust any of sources relating about how war is going, and you seem to ignore two facts : once Russian armies control all borders, no weapons from EU can get in, then second : for high tech weapons, trained people are required, or they don't have them.
So, logically, Russia should not have any problems, however two improbable events can change the outcome, a military putsch or a massive civilian unrest in Russia. Sanctions will not do it, because a) it takes a long time until they take place,b) Russia was prepared, they have energy and raw materials for several years, which we don't, c) China is delighted of the situation and will back Russia economically.
I also listened to medias first days about how sanctions will put Russia in a hole and how die-hard we need to be, then one week later everyone quickly toned down and is now predicting a big hole for us, way before Russia. Sanctions are always two ways, and both our economies and attitude to comfort will not be able to take any serious hits. If tomorrow fuel price doubles, is not Putin who fears a revolt, but Macron.

@Salamandre
I agree that it's too early to say what to expect and it's difficult to find reliable sources when the war is going on, but I completely disagree with your defeating mood.
It might have been the case in XVII century when people didn't care much about who is the ruler and the wars were competitions of the kings, but things have changed. With the spread of nationalism from England and France, the same people no longer ignored wars and could shout that they want to live under country X or country Y. This allowed countries to perform mobilizations and smaller professional armies were converted to mass armies where KIA could be easily replaced by new recruits.
And then when regular armies fight on the territories of another country, guerilla warfare starts playing an important role. Guerilla warriors are a pain in the neck for stronger opponents. They shoot in the backs, they attack supply lines, they destroy expensive equipment. Invaders could reply with public prosecutions and executions, but that could lead to more guerilla warriors. Americans felt that in Vietnam, then Afghanistan. Unconventional and asymmetric warfare aren't empty words.
That's why it isn't a great idea to fight against nations. Countries don't declare wars on nations nowadays, instead they say they are going to eliminate terrorists, or nazis, or whatever. This is actually the biggest miscalculation by Putin and I don't see how they can get the victory now. You seem to agree that Russians thought that everything would just end in 24 hours because everybody loves Putin. And now what? Will they try to occupy the entire country? Will they be able to hold it? Are you sure Russians have enough resources?
The population of Ukraine is over 40 million and how many troops can Russia position in Ukraine to hold the situation? 100 thousand? The ratio is 400:1, I don't believe that will work, and Russian troops will be slowly murdered, one after another, because of the same guerilla warfare. And that will not stop until Russians decide to leave the dangerous territory.
In addition to that, time is helping Ukraine. The biggest effect from the sanctions isn't instant, Russians will feel it when time comes. Russia is likely to default on its debt, most likely as early as next month. International corporations already leaving Russia and even their oil and gas revenues are seriously threatened. Russia is no longer considered a reliable trading partner and the situation will get worse. "Sanctions don't work" is actually another Russian propaganda, of course they do.
As for Russian internal situation, I don't believe in a massive civilian unrest in Russia. Not yet. Because for now most of the Russians truly support Putin, they'll become poorer and isolated, but well, I guess the thought about the Great Country and thousands of nukes warms their souls. This is what we mean when saying that in Russia "TV is winning the battle against Refrigerator". Palace coup is a more probable scenario, but I agree that the odds aren't high yet, though the odds might increase depending on the situation.
And the military situation isn't great for Russia. Yes, they have reserves and made some progress on specific directions. But take tanks for example. The number of tanks Russia has isn't infinite. Before the war the estimates were that Russia had about 5k tanks. I'm sure that many of those are rusty and useless and obviously Russia needs to defend their vast territory so it can't go all-in. Let's say they can use 2k tanks in Ukraine. At the same time Ukraine has already received over 20k anti-tank weapons. And those do not require trained people as you say. They are small, portable, shoot-and-run, and they are so easy to use, that even guerilla forces can use them. With every week Ukraine receives more and more weapons, and they will be used. Russias will continue take heavy losses. An independent estimate of killed Russians by US intelligence is between 2 to 4 thousand people, that will keep increasing. This war will be more deadly for Russians than Chechen wars or maybe the war in Afghanistan, which lasted a decade.
Finally, I'd like to say a small but important fact, which was not seen outside of Ukraine. Before the war, one of the most popular hashtags in social media in the country was #UkrainiansWillResist. And that happened. And that will continue.

Fortunately the Russian propaganda is just too repetitive, too phlegmatic. It's been the same claptrap for years. No creativity. They remain faithful to their bash style but for anyone who has access to alternative information sources this gets too old. They aggravate their communication by repeating the same stuff.
Whatever the accusation, you'll get the same answer. I think people are fed up with Putin's smug smile.

And China accuses the West of escalation.
We should stop even listening to this nonsense. Just ask yourself ONE question: who would EVER dare to attack Russia? I mean, even if EVERY bordering state would be part of NATO, there would still be no attack, wouldn't it? Why? Because of the darn nuclear weapons.
So all this talk about "feeling threatened" and whatnot - utter nonsense. Russia CANNOT be attacked profitably. and without risking a nuclear holocaust.
So all this talk are just an uttering of empty word husks.
It's now a question of how long it will take until Russia and Ukraine come to terms.

The truth is, Russia started that war in order to destroy Ukraine as an independent country, by splitting it up and installing a puppet government in the rest.
Since that won't happen now - not because they couldn't destroy Ukraine, but because a puppet government would be gone 10 minutes after the Russiand left the country - Russia wants to save face and try to salvage a maximum out of this.
I don't think, though, Ukraine will let them, so this could actually last some time.

Indeed, even if Zelenskyj stated dropping NATO request like week ago. They have now offer to consider and it's to accept or not. Thousand of lives are at stake in both cases. And the offer is not too good but it would save a lot of people, maybe, you never know with russians. UA turn.

Any comments on the bio-labs in Ukraine which the US gov has recently admitted to or the neo-nazi Azov Battalion that are attracting neo-nazis from all over Europe?
It should be noted that part of Hitler's horrors were medical segregation and eugenics; this Ukrainian Azov battalion likely have no interest in this. However the WEF controlled Zelensky and US governments do. I find Putin's claims to be fighting "nazism" a bit more credible than the clownish left in America who called Trump Hitler, yet still obviously a ruse.

They didn't admit to them - and, frankly, they would have to be utterly moronic to leave those labs for a fortnight as they are, waiting for the Russians to occupy them.
The labs would be long gone.
So, logically? Nonsensical.
And, I mean, seriously. The US maintains bio-labs in the UKRAINE? A non-NATO state not in the US sphere of influence?
More nonsensical.

US biological laboratories are located in many exUSSR countries - in Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan.
In the United States itself, such laboratories are prohibited, as they are dangerous.
In the southern regions of Russia after 2014 (after West intervention in Ukraine) there were many epidemics of livestock, which is most likely related to US biolaboratories.
Information about US biolabs is easy to find on your own, but instead you prefer to look bewildered. I think the Americans will not be able to fool the whole world forever, and someday they will get what they deserve.
Many Ukrainians also pretended not to know what was going on in their country. But sooner or later you have to answer.

Yeah I thought the offshore bio-labs were a hoax too until a few days ago. Here is Victoria Nuland admitting to them yesterday in congress.
https://www.c-span.org/video/?c5005113/user-clip-nuland-biological-wmd-ukraine
By the by, she says "biological research facilities" in the same way some shady places say they offer "full body massages".
And for a breakdown on the neo-nazis here is an ex-islamic terrorist giving you a breakdown of the danger. His whole page is a goldmine for actual information about what's going on there.

Don't keep coming back with regurgitated lines from billionaire media and their affiliates. They are only showing one side of the story. That is, the narrative designed for maximum bloodshed and economic devastation to profit off of. Follow independent journalists before you come back here humiliating yourself.
Edit: Also, they keep these labs in places like Ukraine and China where there are less ethics laws. For example, gain of function research was outlawed in America; yet monsters like Fauci funded the same research in China. Same story with the Ukrainian bio-labs
And before you waste your time, yes, the biolabs were spearheaded by the highest levels of the US government. https://thenationalpulse.com/2022/03/08/obama-led-ukraine-biolab-efforts/
