Northern Ireland. Who Cares.
I used to care, but I realised it is a waste of time. They are going to kill each other ad nauseum no matter what anybody else thinks or does. Old habits die hard.
Who really cares about pathetic struggles over useless religions and lands. In 1000 years they will all be dead anyway. Let's just get on with our own lives and leave the idiotic people to themselves.
RD.
Are you serious? Who cares? Some people have family there, friends there. When will you realize that Israel needs our Help, and that Palestine wont stop and till they have pushed all of the Israelies into the sea. When will you people see that Israel is only guilty for defending themselves against terrorists.
I think you'll find no-one especially minds them defending themselves, but rather the methods they use to do so.

Osama Factor---->
I've been spending a great deal of time thinking about this matter. I can't help but wonder how Bin Laden ties into this whole affair.
From what I understand, Bin Laden is a Saudi-born Islamic fundamentalist with many personal ties to Saudi-related interests. When Saddam invaded Kuwait he offered his Muja Hadin fighters to defend the northern Saudi border but was kindly refused by the royal family. The Saudi royal family decided to go with U.S. intervention instead and this greatly angered Bin Laden.
I also can't help but wonder just how much of his philosophy has spread to non-middle-eastern arabs. I look at the Sudanese and see the ethnic cleansing. I look at Pakistan and see the radical islamic fundamentalists constantly trying to assassinate (coup)President Mushariff. If Mushariff dies then we might see the first Islamic fundamentalist terorrists gaining control of Pakistan's nuclear arsenal.
Personally, I believe Bin Laden to be somewhere in northern Pakistan or eastern Indonesia. I think that wherever he might be, he is continuing to deliver his message of america supporting the Israelis.
Iran seems to be a large wild card in my opinion. I don't have much information on this yet but I am still researching it. I am thus far worried that if an arab-world led assault on Israel happens, then they would simply join because they dislike both Israel and the u.s. for many different reasons.
And I am once again brought full circle to wonder what Osama Bin Laden's influence is capable of. I simply can't ignore his ability to ignite the old flames of the historic jihadists claiming and reclaiming the holy land. I've heard it said before that Bin Laden is a person who successfully "jumps on the band wagon of other causes" and makes them his own to increase his popularity among local indigenous peoples. They aren't necessarily what he has been all about, but the affect it seems to have on the people listening to him is remarkable at best.
