I wrote you giving my spin on the panther, and another look shows that the head should be lower than the body too. and the middle of it's back should be curved a little. It's front legs should be a little thinner from the joint down too. The nose and mouth area should be shoved in more and maybe add some whiskers to it. The tail should be longer with the curved part nearly touching the ground.
Along with what I sent you in email and what I wrote here, I know it may sound harshly critical, but I'm not. It looks good and it could look realistic. Remember, big cats are ground hunters with amazing leaping ability. They actually slither on the ground and look up with their eyes and not their head. Their necks are never raised up as the pic shows....The H2 pic of the wolf and a real panther are not that far apart. And they are both predators to begin with. Domestic cats are the only cats I've seen that raise their heads in this manner. Big cats are almost horizontal from head to rear with a slight curvature in the middle back. The only time they raise their heads is when they are sitting or awakened. Other than that, they are out to kill.

Um... Kitten, Lord knows I am your big fan, but the panther looks bad. Please study the H4 white tiger. ByteBandit put it well.
By the way, have you already chosen its skill(s)?
If it's not too late, I'd suggest a sabretooth instead.

Well, Kitten, I'm afraid I must agree with what has been posted by ByteBandit. He's right. I don't mind some new cats in HMM 3.5 (I like cats very much), but that one looks more like a domestic cat than a panther...
Besides the graphics, it would be interesting to know what are you going to make it like. Here are some of my own suggestions...
Panthers
Alignment: Neutral
Level: 5
Hit Points: 55
Damage: 11-16
Attack: 13
Defense: 10
Speed: 9
Cost: 850 gold
Growth: 3
Special Abilities:
1) No retaliation strike.
2) 20% chance to hit 2 times.
3) 20% chance to blind the enemy for 3 turns.
Panthers are fierce predators, who live mostly in Krewlod and in the western part of Erathia. Their speed allows them to attack suddenly, leaving no chance for retaliation. When lucky, they may have time to strike the enemy 2 times in a row. They can even blind their foe by scratching out his eyes.

That's the size of an animation frame, ask nwc why they went so large.

Well, couldn't Kitten cut the panther itself out and post here? She isn't forced to post the entire frame, is she?

Sure, but that would require her to save another copy and besides showing the whole frame gives a sense of scale if you know what you're looking at. In this case the new panther is a bit large, it would be 3 hexes wide.

Like which ones? Most won't transfer well directly, the style is too different. One of our team members has been working on converting the H2 wolf to be used in WoG and it's looking pretty good. What did you have in mind?

Ahem.
I'd like to see the Werewolf, a creature made of Hell Hound's head and Behemoth's body. With regeneration and fear skills.

Is there a possibility to mix trolls and cyclops so we can have war trolls from H2. Someone mentioned nazgul (deathg knight on dragon), that would be cool (doesn't have to wear that name). A druid (green zealot or monk), can someone make dwarwen skeletons....militia(upgraded peasants), ...
