Ok folks, not to stir **** or anything but here are my observations as to who "seems" inactive so far...

Conan(I know it's tough for you to get online)
Patriot P (I was gonna kid but heck, you practically live there... 
If people are going through personal stuff (exams, kids, fatal accidents, ect) it's all good...
Im just trying to get an idea of who's around and when they'd be available...
(cuz right now Im winning and that just aint right!!!)

It's true, I'm not active and I know it. But you know what? I'm ready to make this noob tourney happen without me on it!
I actually really enjoy this Tourney and would still like to continue managing it without me as a participant. I could be the outside view (or objective view) on this?

that's too bad... I think you should try to get your games in anyways... if in 2 or 3 months you haven't had the chance then you'll just forfeit like any other player...
I think it would be a shame to lose you as a contestant!
Stay in but play smaller maps... get the games in... take your place... Im only here because of you so I'd be dissapointed if you bailed! (if that means anything)

I would rather have you as a contestant as well This tourny is not cut-throat (at least I don't think it is) so if you only have an hour to play here and there, that is cool by me. I'm sure you will find that others involved in this tourny will do the same. We can always set "no time limit" so that if you need to change a diaper all of a sudden, you don't miss out on your turn (just let us know if that happens so we can take a break ourselves)

No need to do that at this point. As long as there is action going on (even partial games being saved to continue another day) then we are in good shape. I think once we are a couple games away from playing everyone 1 time, then we can collectively decide when to start the playoffs.

If it makes u feel any better Conan I havent actually finished a noob tourney game in one sitting with anyone. Due to everyones schedules being different and time zone differences, etc. I don't think anyone is realistically expecting games to go from start to finish in one shot. In fact the only game I have finished is with Jebus and I currently have a game going with Leo and one with Patriot (aka Val).
So its all good.......PLAY, PLAY!!

Only reason I said lets not report this game is because: after such a good but slow start for the both of us prior to the save, your concentration wasn't on the game when we continued yesterday. I didn't feel I beat you, but the AI beat you by taking most of your army. Told you I didn't want to beat suicide Val

Discussing Rules before a game
I don't know if I am the only person having problems with this or not... but wanted to bring this up here so that everyone has a CLEAR understanding of what this means.
When a person asks about rules, if you don't want any rules and everything is fair game, then so be it... just say, "no rules".
If there are some rules you would like to see, below is a list of some common rules used in the zone:
No:
- Red Rush (rr)
- Hit and Run (hr)
- Cartographer (cart)
- Hillfort (hf)
- Dimension Door (dd)
- Fly (includes use of angel wings artifact)
- Level 4 & 5 Scrolls
- Diplomacy (diplo)
- Joiners
- Necro Castle (necro)
- Conflux Castle (flux)
- Griffin Conservatories (cons)
- Serpent Fly Hives (hives)
- Double Build (db)
- Fight Misplaced Guards (fmg)
- Log Spec Hero as Main
- 4th Lvl Spell Hero as Main
- Sir Mullich
There are more, but I just wanted to present a list of some rules that players pick and choose and agree upon before starting a game.
In my case for example, when a player tells me that the rules are in the game... what does that mean? No rules? I saw where dd and fly is removed from the template in the description, but here I have angel wings guarded by a hoard of Thunderbirds. If I defeat these thunderbirds, do I have the right to use the wings and fly all over? I would hate to play a game and then have someone tell me afterwards that I didn't play fair because I used the wings when CLEARLY (or NOT SO CLEARLY) it is understood that you can't use fly of any sort even if it is in the game and wasn't supposed to be. Do you get where confusion may start to set in??
