Can anyone give me some tips or strategies to map 4, that girl got 130 cavaliers and 30 angels at the beggining and if i capture citys and build them up she got 350 cavs 50 angels and 2k of those stupid soldiers. im really stuck there

Guys, I need some help - I'm stuck at last mission playing on Normal with Freyda fighting the castle - I have done how you have written here (only single light magic) but I still have no chance to win.
Freyda is like 20 level only - I have tried several times but still have no chance to kill em all.
Please help !!

Even when I kill with Fryda's ability all Saccubuss without loseing important part of my army, I still can not win (not even close).
Don't have Master of Puppets, Resurrection and other stuff.

Pretty much the same with me and I had not even gotten her light magic from the town. I'll replay the battle just to be sure and tell you if I see any weaknesses or easy way out of it. I had found things hard and barely survived myself.

Seems I am in time  Played it a while ago and it was easier than I remembered though I made a big mistake in the end and it cost me troops. Anyway the trick is to block the pit spawns or nightmares that will try to pass through the gate, if they do the devils, the horned grunts and the rest that will come to you will be hard to keep at bay.

As much as I hate to say this, I was wondering "where the hard part in this whole series of campaign is?" (read the reviews about the latest addon and got scared a bit). To my surprise, the missions were fairly easy...HOWEVER. The game designers messed things up again, with the last mission.
I mean, they COULD warn you "Hey dude, level Freyda up, don't use Duncan as your main hero" or "Hey man, remember, you'll need Wulf to finish the scenario".
I gave up trying to finish the last mission. It's just too much. First I take a go, and find out Wulfstan wasn';t good enough. Go back to the previousmission, start all over yadda yadda yadda. Get the good skills, and go to the next. Wulfstan wins (quite easily) then I find out that Freyda is fighting too! Well what do you know? And guess what, I used Duncan as my power-hero and left her, let's say, the way they gave her to me. Now, how am I supposed to finish the battle with her? Hmm, let's see...you can't. I'm wondering who the hell were the testers of this campaign, because they SHOULD OF at least THINK that some persons MIGHT want to play with Duncan, instead of Freyda. And besides, the way they give us Freyda..with no good light spells and stinky skills is just unacceptable.
So here I am, after replaying the battle for the 14th time (yeah I had the patience ) and reloading over and over again and restarting the scenario once (because I thought that maybe the AI accumulates creatures and if I'm fast enough I can beat him). But no, there's no way to beat it. Well, unfortunately Heroes 5 left a sour taste in my mouth. And it's not because of the game itself, but because of the way the final scenario of the game was made. I mean, they should of play-tested and see if it was possible to finish the battle, even if the respective heroes (Freyda and Wulfstan or Kujin) were levelled up or not. This is just insane. Meh.
*Later Edit: Does anyone know a trainer or something so I can bypass this battle? At least I'd like to play the other battles with the heroes that I've raised during the campaigns. Or maybe a .sav file of the scenario, if anyone has Freyda built up accordingly.

I, for the other hand, won the battle with Wulf at the first attempt. But then I could not beat another castle with Freyda. Fortunately, Gothai gave her 100 Cyclops and she finally won. Then, Gotai killed the fourth castle - before that he left the other female hero from his kind 250 cyclops, and finally he gave Zethir 550 cyclops :-) Nice and easy :-)))))

It_hunter, I disagree, I had same Freyda as you did and true, I could not do much with her, so I just did not attack the castle and passed some Cyclops from Gotai, who appeared to attack 3rd castle :-) So there is always a way....

I noticed something. Yes, you can do that trick with Gotai and stuff..However. There is one little thing that you could also do. You COULD switch to Duncan, if Duncan was your main. Problem is this: Duncan cannot carry-over any artifacts. In the mission with Freyda and him, I passed all the good artifacts to Duncan (including the bow artifact sets ). When I got to the final mission, the artifacts were not there, which is odd, because in other people's saves I saw that the artifacts were carried over, by Freyda. Meh
Later Edit: How do you transport troops from Gotai to Freyda? The bridge is broken...

Yup, only the heroes who battle bring their artifacts. I was really pissed to see Gotai without his full Dragon set

Apparently you can finish the scenario even if you DON'T capture all the inferno cities I never captured the one with Freyda, I just skipped it, heh. Well overall, this last scenario was incredibly hard. The Kujin battle was easier for me, even though Gotai was way more powerful, because I had Kujin pretty nicely levelled. And she had LUCK strikes during the battle too! Yvalla was a piece of cake. And Talonguard...well let's just say that Puppet Master is a lovely spell.

There are path underground behind all infernal cities which lead from any to any castle :-)))))
