So that's why weapon industry exists.
Well, enjoy the picnic, then. I love a day off in the nature too - though with less explosions perhaps, I can be weird like that.
Just make sure to load live ammunition, those bottles mean business.
EDIT
I agree on alcohol. I've had... encounters with that one. But there is more to all this than personal experience.

You know what's even more fun than shooting bottles, shooting text books. I have no idea WHY, but they are just fun to shoot. I'd never do that with a good book, but there are plenty of crappy ones out there. Old phone books are good too.

there are different mentalities. My aunt and uncle, did not let me play with toy weapons. My mom would not let me play middle school football (the football where we use our hands)
But there are many distinguished solders and warriors who had interest and / or motivation as children.
I cant say I agree with each case of these kids but being in a military to many people means protecting things. I personally do not like a few things about the country but I would kill kill kill for the innocent people who live here or other places as well if, it was not imposing.
Anyways, kids learning war, do not only learn war. They learn discipline, responsibility, courage, unity, they learn so much more than war. Spartans, (no i did not only watch movies about this) I cannot say if they felt a sense of unity and comradery as young trainees but they are fair example. They were not horrible people by any means, they were of good things and they went through extreme training by far surpassing the feather treatment many people expect kids deserve now.
these kids with this disciplinary training are less likely to become moron drug users or living in boxes, and crap like that sooo in most cases, how can someone say each of those kids are in the wrong place? There is no perfect case but i assure you many of them have some positive things going on in their minds and lives.

I still haven't read any explanation why everyone is happy with a young marine school, but if you'd open a young lover school you'd go straight into jail.
Think about it. Imagine a school like the young marines, just called young lovers. Admittance starting with 12. Regular classes plus the same way the young marines have things like weapon training, scouting and so on, you'd have a class specific for sex/love/pregnancy/family, all that stuff.
You'd get hordes of angry, outraged parents, wouldn't you? Newspaper tiltles like "porn school for children" and so on.
Ask yourself: how come? Isn't that at least a little bit strange?
Now, just for clarification, I don't want to advertise that kind of school, that's not the point. The point, should be clear meanwhile, is a different one.

hmm I dont understand how sex at young age is a way to say disciplinary school is wrong.
Call it what you want, they are not learning one particular thing in this "young marine" school. You can call it war, and killing, You can say it in such a way that marines only kill. But how can you begin to believe it? (with no look at the curriculum but instead only what you want to look at and zoom in on.)
No matter where we are we are human. Many countries have some line of military defense. You say these kids training is bad as if every action they will perform is unethical? WTF does pedophile crap or having kids have sex with each other have to do with saying learning how to be a young man or woman, learning MORE than battle but core principles! I could say the three which is like a slogan but they learn so much more than 3..
They are not being brain washed in most cases. You go to the source than hates something, you think you wont see only the pictures that capture split seconds of some moment? That tells me you only pay mind to what you already want to believe.
you deny the history yet you rely on it for things that are convenient to what you want. Shovel animals down your throat because its the way things have been in the past yet it doesnt apply that they had farms and we have slaughter factories, but young kids learning discipline in way that is probably more than 1000% easier and positive than our ancestors beating each other with wooden swords, often training by fights with adults! Is without question.. wrong.... right? No question about it then No, I am not justifying any actions with the above statement based on the past of humans. The thing is, humans have a tendency to rally up popular beliefs, confirm each other, and develop ethics. Piracy, oh no, dont pay the artists right? Thats one perspective.
Its convenient to you to pick one place and talk **** also isnt it when women and children form crowds with BUTTER knives to thwart bomb threats and infiltration of often times their own abusers.

Why so defensive?
All I want to know is why it is so no-problem and cool and everything to train 8-year-olds in the way of the marine "learning responsibe use of weapons while it's a no-no with sex?
You can bold your post as much as you want - I don't see an answer. Strangely enough what I see is aggression. Happenstance?
Lastly, this one is typical:
Quote: WTF does pedophile crap or having kids have sex with each other have to do with saynig learning how to be a young man or woman
This is as I would say, WTF has kill crap or having kids shoot people have to do with learning... and so on.
Moreover, keep your tone normal, please - you seem to make it a habit to yell around in this thread - obviously a bit more discipline couldn't hurt yourself.

im all good, thanks, i am not trying to have some training on how i express myself.
It is true that I dont understand why saying "why not have sex school and training" could make marine training look bad.
I am dead serious when I say their traniing is way more ethical and advanced, and positive than the ways of the past. Sure that provides no warranted justification, but it is something I consider... considerable.
I do not look into their program or those against it and what they have to say on websites beyond here. I assume some things but not to much that would be extreme jumping to conclusion.
I just say one thing. they do not wake up chanting murder murder, kil kill
I am sure they have adaquate diets, positive talks and classes, not only something that to much of would brainwash them.
I am 100% sure of this and i would so admit i am sorry if i am wrong. Are they preaching hatred or self development, unity, love of defense, etc etc.
alright peace out

In many ways we are products of our culture. Ask someone from a more militant culture (Israel for example) what they think of the picture and they might recognize it as a norm.
As for comparing firearms safety to those other subjects, that's about the most blatant and shameful straw man that anyone has ever thrown at me.

Poor choice of words on my part. It might not be a norm in that 8-11 year old Israelis are being taught the ins and outs of a service rifle (the picture suggests the M4, a carbine version of the US M-16 A2). I was alluding to the mandatory military service of all Israeli citizens.

Quote: @Xerox: Wasn't there something like Hitler Jugend in Sweden during the war? I'm just wordering.
What? Who is Hitler Jugend? His grandfather?
And yes, I said that if the Nazis had won WW2 then Hitler would probably have been regarded as a hero since the winners almost always write history.
Also there was a communistic party in Sweden during the early 1900s, I have read that in a book called "Så var det på min tid/That's how it was back in the days" which is basically old people describing how they lived back then. But that party didnt become so big.
Sweden used to be a rather poor country so its not odd that about one million people (which is a lot in Sweden even today with a population of 9,3 people) moved to the US.
Then Sweden was smart during WW2 and stayed neutral. This gave us a huge economic advantage during the aftermath of the war and our natural rescourses helped in rebuilding Europe and obviously this granted us a lot of money.
I still think all Nordic countries should merge into Nordica or all scandinavian countries into a country called Scandinavia.
This is the Nordic or Scandinavian flag I made (I think its beautiful and im making one in school on my textil class).
Also my next serious topic is going to be on how Child and Slave labour was crucial for building up the industry so stay tuned after the break (lol).
Also I find it very entertaining that Celfious gets so upset. Im like the male version of Kissie or Katrin Zytomierska here.
Guess what my English teacher who lived in LA for 3 years said today in school? That the US lies because the "American Dream" only applies to not-poor people and that poor people in the US are screwed over because the healthcare and educations costs money and they get no unemployment funds.
I guess I should talk about sexual education.
I am 14 years old and we started to have some sexual education when we were 12 years old I think, in the sixth grade. Thats also when I began to ---- wont get into that lol. Though when I was in the first grade some class mates and I watched a bit porn because it was "disgusting", "weird" and there where penises in them xD But that had nothing with sexuality to do lol it was just a fun and exciting thing.
Sexual education is waaaaay more important then learning how to use a gun unless you want everybody to be rapists and spread HIV across the entire Scandinavian peninsula lol xD
Otherwise people will get like 10 children each and destroy the planet with overpopulation O.o
Also I consider myself to have a very strong free will and own opinions since discipline barely exists in the Swedish society these days. If my mum gets angry at me she just hides the internet cabel and I begin to cry like a baby lol.
"OMG MUM IM MISSING THE FREAKING RAID DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH FREAKING LESS DKP I WILL GET IF I MISS THIS? I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET MY 310% PROTO-DRAKE THIS RUN! NOW I MISS IT AND MIGHT GET GUILDKICKED. WTF I HATE YOU SO MUCH"
Actually that hasnt happened since we have a good relation and she is already addicted to her blog and facebook herself XD

You sure like to quote that English teacher of yours. Well guess what, she's the one who is lying, or maybe she's just clueless. Because everything she said is wrong.

I live here, I could say probably more than your idealist idiotic liberal teacher but you would FAIL to understand that more exists than the negative things you want to hear and get off to in your impressionable mind.
What does american dream have anything to do with this discussion and things I have said in response to your persistent bashing of other places and praising your own kind as if some superior complex does not govern your thoughts?
How does your response.... to my saying you are saying you know moral reality and you judge countries and call your own better nearly everytime you speak on some culture... How does repeating what your teacher has to say about his/her past country defend that you bash and focus on hatred and things like this? I am actually moving to another continent. I like freedom, i like peace, i like my current neighborhood, but I am not running around always pointing my finger at other people and other ways of life, gooo focus on all the garbage hate speech you want.
I hate some particular things about where I live.. I see things for what they are and I am not here to explain things to a brick wall like you. And I am not some biased idiot encouraging hatred to little kids. there is good and bad here like everywhere else, I am not here to compare even though i could try. I am here to say the neither I nor anyone that i know have any substantial influence over things, and you keep pointing fingers and quoting dumb self ordained moral hill top preachers
Marine youth training, and a sex ed "class" are not the same depth of curriculum. How does saying sex education and <see jolly jokers post if you wish to follow context> a class, and a school are not the same.
