Thx
It's ok, no offense.
I know I did not fit the theme description, my bad. The issue is that beginning the game by listing people I dislike is quite hard so I cheated a bit.
Well, for the first try, I will look for playlists of girl power and instrument.
Sure I won't do every themes you did, but at least those 2.
As for the number of songs, I did not see the "10" rule; I note that.

Weapon of Choice
Ok, I managed to build a 10-songs playlist dedicated to 1 instrument today.
I have chosen the piano, because it is my favorite one.
For me it is the King, the Emperor of all intruments.
It can be used so many ways, it seems there is no limit.
That is why I tried to put in the list songs using it in a quite different aiming than expected (#2: progessive masterpiece, #4: "metal" grand piano, #6: she's hitting the piano, #9 and E-E-E-E..., etc.).
Therefore you won't find classical pieces, though I love them too.
So anyway:
Theme: Weapon of Choice
1. Coldplay – Lovers in Japan
2. Genesis – Firth of Fifth
3. Gonzales - Knight Moves
4. Richard Cheese - Chop Suey
5. The Dresden Dolls - Coin-Operated Boy
6. Regina Spektor - Poor Little Rich Boy
7. Rob Dougan - Clubbed To Death
8. Muse - Space Dementia
9. The Stooges - I Wanna Be Your Dog
10. Queen - We Are The Champions
and 11. Frederick, Goldman & Jones - Juste après
The last song is a bonus. It is a french song, using throughout the same line on piano.
As for the previous list, I have created that one on Deezer: http://www.deezer.com/fr/#music/playlist/piano-demonge-50107534
PS: isn't there any way to merge double (and triple ) posts here?

You can use the edit button instead of double posting
Othewise, maybe asking a mod. Another way I don't know...

Burn baby burn
Anything by Hall and Oates *barfs*
Kiss On My List
I sometimes listen to an early 60s radio station that plays this a lot. This has to be the most annoying song I've ever heard.
Hello Heartache
Burn in Hell for making this song and doubly burn in hell for singing so far out of range.
What a Fool Believes by Doobie Brothers
Tina Turner - can't sing, can't perform, and absolutely positively is NOT sexy so stop trying to act like it already. A 70 year old woman wearing a mini skirt and thrusting her hips is way beyond bad taste
Proud Mary
Fleetwood Mac - They just really rub me the wrong way, and Stevie Nicks voice is grating.
Rhiannon
B-52s - I might change my mind about that Little Peggie song being the most annoying song ever made.
Roam
Cardigans - You know what sucks so much about this song? Because it's actually mildly appealing. I've been ruined forever.
Lovefool
Heart - OK, so listening them once is ok. Twice, maybe. Thrice, just can't take it any more.
Magic Man
Bruce Springsteen - I can't stand this guy, just can't stand him. A new contender for most annoying song ever.
Born In The USA
OK, I was reluctant to do this one. It's not about the band because I like the band. It's not about the music because I like the music. It's not even about the singing because he's a good singer. But I can't stand Eric Burdon who has a humongous ego. Even in his old age he still has an ego with an on-stage attitude of "Look at me. Look at me. I'm cool."
Please Dont Let Me Be Misunderstood - the original
Same song - old man still trying to be cool
I repeat, it's not about the music, but drop the ego.

What is happy hour?
Nah, I'd say don't bother rating the last one. It's too hard to rate something that's supposed to suck, especially since it insults people who like those songs. It was all in fun though.

Dont Bogart Me by Fraternity of Man 1969 (the credits in the video are wrong about this being by Country Joe and the Fish)
Unless I'm remembering incorrectly, C.J. and the Fish performed it at Woodstock. I guess it might not have been their tune.

That seems to be a common misconception. There are several comments at Youtube saying the same thing. However the song was by Fraternity of Man. Country Joe never did the song, not even as a cover. The song was not played at Woodstock. Country Joe's most well known song at Woodstock was the fish cheer/Vietnam rag. (I think that's the only one of his songs on the original Woodstock album and the movie)

I MIGHT take over again, if I may...but nto if anyone else is willing and capable of judging.
for this round:
BobbyMcFerrin - Dont Worry
Perfect opener for a happy hour playlist, in my eyes XD
Jim Sturgess - Ive just seen a face (Across the Universe Soundtrack)
An awesome tune!!! And describing what can be a really strong source of happiness.
Blink182 - Feeling This
For me, a verry happy tune!
Fiddlers Green - The Night Pat Murphy died
Nice fast folk-rock song. About celebrating the death of a person with a big drinkign instead of mourning and sorrow (or amybe I didn#t udnerstood the text but i think I did XD). It fits in both interpretatiosn of the song, IMO.
FArin Urlaub - Glücklich
"glücklich" is the German translation of happy, so this song is kinda' must-have in here ^^ Main line: "It doesn't matter what you are, most important is you are happy"
Wenn ich vergnügt bin muss ich singen
Title name translation: When I am cheerfull, I have to sing. A nice old song, bringing some more variety and with the for me great message. They sing about singing out ones cheer, even if many people are...indignant.
Beethoven - Ode an die Freude (in 9.Symphony)
A wonderful piece isn't it. The text (in sung version) is great, too. About the power of Joy.
Louis Armstrong - What a wonderfull world
Just a masterpiece!!!
Die Toten Hosen - Bis zum bitteren Ende
Nice German drinking song X) Title: Until the bitter end. Main line: "And the years are passing by,
and still we're drinking without mind."
Not to be seen too serious
Always look on the bright side of life
For me, a wodnerful closer for this list. An ultimate recipe for happiness
somehow, still one sogn is msising. I'm thinking...

Okay, It's time for Happy Hour
Carpenters - Top of The World
relentlessy happy
Koop - Come to Me
a really optimistic tone, cool vid too.
Bitter:Sweet Dirty Laundry
I put this one in because it's impossible to sit still while listening to it.
Rythms Del Mundo, doing Radiohead's - High and Dry
This ones got a pleasant lounge feel to it.
Doris Day - Fly me to the moon
If you can't appreciate this song then you're made out of sin.
Earth, Wind, and Fire - Fantasy
Tom Petty - Its Good to Be King
strange, it seems happy though it's in a minor key
Ditty Bops - Walk or Ride
pure goodness
Israel Kamakawiwo - Kanai Aupuni
You can't have a happy hour without some Hawaiian music
*twenty five minutes later*
damn, youtube is really thin on Hawaiian music
okay, this'll have to do:
Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - Panini Pua Kea
The Doors - The Alabama Song (Whisky Bar)
This song sounds out of place but Jiriki reminded me that I should have at least one drinking song ;p
