I was going to write Macodenia, not Albania, sorry.
I love how your "logic" operates, a thousand years of Christianity in Europe and they are not more progressed than any other people, than secularization starts to spread (not in 20th century, centuries before that), yet, the progress that comes with it is not about secularization but about Christianity. Meanwhile, the Roman origins of Europe dont count because of the crucifixions, yet somehow witchburning or the inquisition is completely unrelated to Christianity... All on top of that, although there is zero correlation or any rational causality even on a hypothetical basis between Christianity and progress, when something bad happens in a Christian country it is because of all the other elements and if something good happens, than it's only because of Christianity.
Oh, how the mind of the religious works! It would be fun to put you and AlHazin in a room and make bets on who'll try to convert who first.

If you want to convert, please refer to the closest imam available in your surroundings.
That said artu, it is said that for those who believe, no proof is needed, for those who don't, no proof is possible. Resumes well our debate.

Macedonians are East Greek Church not Roman. First catholics are Croatians and Italians there. Next Hungarians, Slovaks and Poland (most religious country of the World), Lithuanians. Next are protestants Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Norway. Its eastern border of Western Church.
Inquistion in fact is great progress in law. Modern justice, witness, investigator, advocat all it is from inquisition practice. Monthy Python is only joke. In fact only 3% people in Inq hand was tortured. More than 1 times 0,6%. It was very small in past days. Crown judges tortured more and more.
Roman and Greeks its NO MERCY philosophy. Vae Victis. Now what we do with captured people? Like Ancietns or like Jesus?
Other question. Works. Work is good thing for us. For ancients it was bad thing. For captived and unfree people. For us work is a creation. Its Jesus exercise. And more and more. In fact all good in West is from Church. Bad things are from West. We think like Jesus if we think good.
Progress was all the time past 700 year. Big secularisation was since XVIII but people still belive in God. Empty churches its 60s XX century! And effect? No future. Fall of West.

@AlHazin
Oh yes, the non-overlapping magisteria (NOMA) argument. It's not that proof isn't possible, it is just that there isn't any. Let me quote Dawkins about that, since he is perfectly straight to the point about it:
To dramatize the point, imagine, by some remarkable set of circumstances, that forensic archaeologists unearthed DNA evidence to show that Jesus really did lack a biological father. Can you imagine religious apologists shrugging their shoulders and saying anything remotely like the following? 'Who cares? Scientific evidence is completely irrelevant to theological questions. Wrong magisterium! We're concerned only with ultimate questions and with moral values. Neither DNA nor any other scientific evidence could ever have any bearing on the matter, one way or the other.'
The very idea is a joke. You can bet your boots that the scientific evidence, if any were to turn up, would be seized upon and trumpeted to the skies. NOMA is popular only because there is no evidence to favor the God Hypothesis. The moment there was the smallest suggestion of any evidence in favour of religious belief, religious apologists would lose no time in throwing NOMA out of the window.

What are seeking exactly as proofs? Countless people have refuted evidences by the past because there's always a way to refute when you want to.
There's a good verse for you in qorân : ((La ikraha fi 'ddîn))*
*"No forcing in "religion" (dîn)".
