No kidding. In H5 it was 10% per luck/morale, capped at 5. Now it's 1%, capped at 100 and one of the primary skills along with attack and defense. Also units have their own individual luck/morale which can range from 2-12. It's also weakened compared to H5.
But anyway that's all in the FAQ.

I think this is the way it must be.Luck and morale chances will be now between h3 and h5 values.In h3 you almost never hit with good luck,in heroes 5 you hit with good luck too often.Let's hope that this change will make h6 gameplay better.

I am pissed off. This game is a disgrace to its noble predecessors.
I have played almost all the games of the franchise beginning with HOMM II and I've been always regarded them as the cornerstone, the go to games of TBS. This is why Heroes VI is for me a big let down. Its not only the many bugs, the fact that as of the last patch the game is unplayable, forcing you do roll back your drivers in order to play it without crashing (WTF BTW?). Its the way it looks and feels, "cartoony" is a word I a have heard used to describe it an it totally fits. As gamers we have come a very long way in so far as expectations go and really in this day and age of gaming, great visuals are a given even in TB games. This looks and feels like a kids game, with the requirements higher than a heavily modded skyrim. Its shoddy work from the beginning to the end. It had the name and the fanbase to go head to head with the best games out there (blizzard), but back hole messed it up on a monumental scale. Repetitive, turn based combat with no innovation at all makes this game, in my opinion, the gravestone of the franchise. I lack the words to fully express just how badly I have been disappointed, so I will instead leave you with a comment which in my view says it all. Disciples III is better!

I post this in here so i dont open another topic.
If u was making the combat grid how many squares\hexs u would choose to be perfect. I would like a biger combat grid.
How about some alternative units that can be completly diferent from other like this: Unit A upg into unit C and unit B upg into unit D.
If u choose the path A u cant go for path B anymore.
Like this u could play a town like Fortress like in Homm 5 almost full of dwarfs or choose to be more of an aliance bewtten 3-4 creatures ( dwarf, gnome, giant, barbarian).
I dont wont the alternatve unit to be just some kind of simple edit to the unit in the first place.
Also could be very cool if we had an editor like Warcraft3\Starcraft 2 editor: easy to use complex. In those editors u could do any of the homm abilitys easy, no programing knowledge needed.
For a cool mod how many ppl want to pay for it?
Ive used the Homm5 power rating calulator program and when i use abiltys to in it is buged: for example i choosed reurect and the rating increased and then i choosed resurect + flying and the power rating decaresed ...if i choose more then 2 abiltys it does nothing.
How was the orignal formulas calculated for power rating?
There is chanse to miss? how about thise: CHanse to hit 80% by default.
I also dont like the blazing glory at Heaven looks like Andromeda From HON, no place for suck a thing there.
Dont like that the sanctury race has also 2 womans look alike.
Dont complain about the skills are not random anymore is still fun think at dota u have some heroes with just 4 skills and ppl are playing it alot.

There is another problem of Heroes 6 is Might and Magic Heroes 6\Heroes of Might and Magic 6 only have Unlock All Mission Cheat but doesn't have the Secret Cheat Console Command like Heroes of Might and Magic 5.
