A huge undead dwarf passes by, looks at the temple, and sighs, as the sight brings back many memories. He decides to enter.

Hearing that all-too familiar squeak of a voice our hero returns to regard this dwarf
<Walking to the bottom of the stairs, the unmistakeable dullness of dried sweat on his face, our hero begins to speak>
"I remember you. I saw you over at Conn's a number of times. You were always buying toys for yourself. Tell me, you still hang out with that loser, Sir Dunco?"
<Pauses for a second, waiting for a response. Just as the dwarf is about to reply, our hero cuts him short>
"And another thing. You weren't one of those god-awful worshippers, were you? If I remember correctly, they scoffed at you. They threatened to turn you into a toad. Now, you're coming back here? And what for? To pay homage to your abusers? They're gone. kaput. nada. There's nothing left here for you. Do yourself a favor and leave. While you're at it, take a shower. Rigor mortis stinks."

Well, no. I never hanged out with SirDunco, although he's a good chap. And I also wasn't a worshipper. They even made a tiny storm cloud follow me around once  . And I came here, because they were my friends.

It is okay Gootch, just don't do it in my temple. That would be a sacriledge. And I don't need to tell what happens to those who make a sacriledge in my temple, or do I?
As for this Temple of Worship do whatever you want. Those goddesses won't harm you, the temple has long since been abandoned. For like I said earlier, they are happy now. Happily living their lives together in the woods.

The Temple was not protected by the Moderators.
Lowly members and visitors were allowed to get away with heresy, sacrilege and physical abuse of Goddesses, and could write in resisting spells and other divine magic.
That's no foundation for a working business!

To everyone: I'm not a ghost, I'm a spirit. I have never been a human or any other materialistic being. And if I want to flow into that temple, I will.

Something disturbed me in my slumber and low and behold..the gootch had come yet again to trample on the remains of what once was the home of me and my sisters. Almost did he convince me to return and teach him a lesson, but I realised it was futile. Besides, the place I called my home now is much kinder then the one I left behind. So instead i smiled and remembered "the good old days".
