From near and far worshippers came to see the magic Box.
Most would fall upon their knees and worship the Box.
Even sight of the Knobs and Knockers made them want to worship the Box.
Some just pretended to worship the Box, and defiled themselves and the memory of the Great Box.
But the Goddesses spurned These worshippers for they were unclean and failed the tests of the Goddesses.
Some came to worship the Rod that the Thunder God presented them. They were cast out.

Oh though vain fool!! Through worshiping us you will be able to find fullfilment, beauty, (and the cerimonial dresses are see through)..
We also seem to have vacancies for high preists... I smited the last ones as they became rather boring.

Umm... Wesley, who said I was drinking anything? Besides, I would never touch alcohol without bat blood in it! I'm way too dangerous when I'm drunk. I even gain 100% resistance against magic AND godly miracles. I'm leaving this place for good. Don't expect me to post here again.

The oldman spent day and night worshipping the Box.
Men gathered and said, "Why does this old one worship this box? Why does he fiddle the Knobs upon the Knockers? What kind of sacriment is this?"
But the women of the land said, "Follow the actions of this wise one. For he knows how to worship a Goddess. Learn from him and show me how you worship."
The men of the land said, "It takes to much time to worship in this manner. I prefer for you to worship the Rod of Thunder."
But other men said, "This wise one knows the truth of worship. I will worship in my home day and night."
The women of the Thunder followers became sullen and disagreeable. For their men knew not how to worship the Box.
But the women of the Oldman's followers became happy and filled with bliss, for they recieved the gift of the Goddess, which many had thought was just a myth.
While the men who worshipped the Rod of Thunder built worship closets and entered, for they did fear persecution.

I think it's time for our feast!
Lot's of drinks and food all for free.
And don't forget to bring your presents..
As for Old Timer you have earned a special place because of turning our Knobs..
and teaching men all over the world how to satisfy women..

Human are not too good at drinking, but nothing goes up to a really big Gnoll party. (Believe me I know, they're like dogs scenting a pregnant she-dog.) I'll invite some friends from the swamp to get the party going.
And dwarves are known to not spit in the glass either. We'll invite UnkaHaakon from the Altar.

And low, it finally was the time of the festival of the Knockers and the Knobs.
The old man had continually worshipped the Box for many days and many nights. Yet he was sustained by the benevelence of the Goddesses.
The men of the old man continually watched and learned the techniques of worship. They were uplifted and glorified by their women, for the women were greatly pleased by the worship of the Box.
The men who shuned the Box and made their women worship the Rod were brought low by a plague of headaches which their women had continually. Some began to realize that if they worshipped the Box, that the Goddesses would miraculously cure their women of headaches. Many converts to the worship of the Box were gained that day.
The festival continued and there was much twisting of the Knobs and much worshipping of the Box.
The Goddesses were well pleased and bestowed upon the old man the gift of Tounges.
And it was good.
(At least it was good for the Goddesses)
