What you mean? Cactus area is a puzzle quest, no fights involved. Sometimes this quest will block one of your heroes for several days (well, if you don't use autosave cheat). If I put a super boss there, it will require Commodus presence, so your main hero will be disabled for one week. I don't know if super idea.

The idea dont have to be super in order to be good!

About the Commodus presence-maybe thats the reason I cant backup the idea.
I dont know what army will I have at the time and what tasks will I have to do at the particular moment with Commodus and the others besides the constant CB resources gathering.

They can go together anyway, that means 4 attacks in a row, combine with that Barbarion Set equals 6 attacks?! Not to mention morale bonus !!!

Anyway Salamandrem, is it possible to make new skill point (Attack, Defence, SP,..)?! It always ticks me off about the fact that the only different between 99 SP (or 125 now) Slow ( + other buffs) and 1 SP Slow is the duration, which isn't really needed that much. If it's possible and if I know how to make a map I would merge SP and knowledge instantly (lower spell point, 1 knowledge now only gives 5 mana). The last slot can give something more useful, like Mobility (more points add more movement speed).

While I know that this dream is too wild to become true, still...!!!


One more thing is that is Master of Speed really worth it?! I mean sure you move faster, but sometime that doesn't help much since you will have to wait to improve your armies to fight against someone, so will the ms boost be useless at those time?!! Not to mention MoE Faction also have teleport shrines to help the movement speed alot anyway...

yeah 6 attacks in a row, pure carnage!

I don't know how to create new skill, will look probably clumsy and will require a lot of trials. I think that we can go step by step when modding, if you do too much at once (see MoP mod), people will just skip it for various reasons, laziness, conservatism, what I know else.

Master of Speed: I don't know about it, but it allows score record, there are many players who like this. Myself I prefer MoE or MoW.

The only problem is that any map require months of testing until everything fits in, so implementing new ideas when is already done requires starting tests from scratch. For now I will take only ideas adding flavor or which fix possible bugs, any ideas regarding the mechanics change will screw the map, at this stage. There are 10 000 lines of ERM code inside.

I don't want to push you, as I'm already aware how much work and tests are needed to make even smaller and less complex map than this!
To change even small things will require great attention and almost surgical exactitude, not to even mention testing.
That's why I propose new thread where players can pour out their thoughts.
For the MoS race I will report here soon but it's too early.

Eh is there anyway to defeat the Sharp Shooter Guardian?! He blocks all attack and immune to magic... Give Shoot Adjacent to our Sharps?!

Btw, I use Prayer in that match, wait until he runs out of ammo, just def and several turns later I have about 11k Atk and Def or something !!!

Nvm, I think I forgot to get dat bow in the Crystal Tower, silly me !!!

grrr, playing now Master of Speed, and chooses to attack Damacon with Devils, efreets, pitlords and cerberies. The damn stupid randomness script (who wrote it?!! oh was me nvm) set archangels to do 200% damage to devils, champions to pits, griffins to cerberies and both monks and archers to efreets. Died in 2 turns. Will have to wait a week and pray for a better dice.

You was extremely unlucky, I atack him with AD and ES, lost 5 AD out of 63 and maybe 20 efreets of 85 ES (mainly from turrets high damage)  due to being extreme lucky, tough
one this guy was.

I had only 30 devils and 45 efreets, maybe too early attack. I choose not to flag devil dwellings until I get Damacon, because his town will not recognize already flagged things if converted, some unexplained bug.

Yep, but I thought Damacon will allow me triple move, as I am the mapmaker. Seems he missed the info. Next week he died anyway, but not before halving my army.

A few explanations on "scroll skills" mod:

If you go with visible skills full at witch hut, it will refuse to teach:




Now you scroll down using arrow then visit again:


Voila, skill taught:


No need to swap anymore or complex manipulations at market of time.

can you put one button to the creatures upgrade window?
the button's name  (ex.) ACE
if i've many new units....i've upgraded 10 times...each...
thank you to your patience for me and my lamb of god fellows
Brilliant map...it's huge, with lot of new things..
Boragrus was very hard...only with HB...but my main army contains only HB (except Lich King, and Guardian)...and They always win ))
i began "the making of Demon" procedure,and i've got 25K (imp with 17 HP+cerberus) HD...i'm in M10W3D4...and i've got a plenty of new creatures in my castles...and the upgrade..huh...:S
I've put some point (= 2 000 000) to my armageddon..(1700)...it's a bit huge money and to much times..)
Several CBs like utópias gives me the limit ( 8 000 000, and soma res+another money(180 point)...but i can't imagine...how can reach the 6 000 000 damage limit..:SS is there possible with non-sorcery hero(but has sorcery skill) ?
)
i love this map...more than TEW_(1-2-3) )

I don't know much about mechanic but I heard someone said that each different between atk and def give +5% dmg, and you can have + 300% dmg max (60 atk difference), higher is useless. Is this true or wrong?!!!

Oh and Salamandre have you thought about having Logistic and Pathfinding Witch Huts?! I know this is convenience but some of my Heroes just can't get it but dumb skills like Estate... Only way to get rid of them is throw them into Mithrils Lab and train another one!!!

Yes I thought about that button, however it is very hard to make because emissary has wrong value in WoG, can be trained only until level 9, so will bug if in the list , will think about.

@Alisapa:

You can get logistic at royal stables near your starting town, for every faction. Pathfinding I find often at universities later.

@Blue Orb: I am 3/4/1 and still not attacked jaegar, waiting for first upgrade (A/R). I defeated him earlier but without AR battle is too long and not enough spell points to resurrect all. Will attack now then will go fast, artificer market rules after Jaegar
