Actually endless retaliation I like it. There is a spell giving it, but most of times AI uses dispel or we have other priorities.
The others are too strong, I aim to maps sod style, not TDS (I love it but is so much overpowered, near ridiculous).

Well we already have Counterstrike. Dispel? Sphere of Permanence, can't have everything.
The only thing that we don't have are Berserk/Hypnotize but still too strong for TEW, so that left Dispel before attack.
Btw for some reasons Wystan doesn't use his Teleport on Naga against me (yes I play Impossible Difficult), so I just Forgetfulness Gremlins, use Clones to block Titans and block gate = GG Wystan. Probably the trick is still allowing one stack of Titan of him to shoot, doesn't matter much with Double Resurrection empowered by MoE double spell power.

Added dispel beneficial spells after testing. Looks ok and will help.
tested bind, stone, paralyze, way too powerful if you split your stacks.
Berserk is lol.
Wystan has no more teleport, it was impossible to beat with, 6000 nagas in your pants, no thanks.

So he is powerless if you block the gate?! Put 3 or 4 Clones in front of Titans and Lord of Thunder stacks (7 stacks give 7 clones, towers kill 3) and they can't shoot since they move first and have to clear the clones by themselves, Gremlins can be disabled by Forgetfulness, plus too low damage and ammo anyway. But I guess it is indeed really hard to beat him with it.

They get morale rather often, this means one clone less next turn, she casts clone almost always, I tried a lot of times with 7 clones, never succeeded.
it simply requires no morale for titans for about 10 turns. Too much reload.

Well probably because of Double Cast the fight is much easier for me (Air Shield + Forgetfulness right in the first turn), even if one Titan stack manages to slip I can still recover quickly by double resurrection (either that or Clone + Resurrection) . Probably will be different if I play MoS.

Meh, double cast is not comparable with any faction. Being able to resurrect 2 efreets/turn is enough once you destroyed the first titan with frenzy. Which you can't to if you split stacks.
First turn: forgetfulness + frenzy, what more.

Have you tried getting Rebirth + Cast on Arch Devils?! It's hilarious, much more powerful than Efreet's rebirth. However this requires to cheat a bit or need lots of Mithrils early game and you have to sacrifice a vital ability (like reducing def). Probably possible with the new MoW faction.

Makes me want double cast for the other factions too,with replacing the fire bonus with something else.

Never tried rebirth on devils, you have to sacrifice two abilities for that. Reduce def is out of question, you will never pass Jaegar without it (2 dragons on hit without), then what to remove? You play half game only with devils, if no clone, you will have a hard time to resurrect all while fighting around dragons, caves. Fearless is a must too, 2 turns lost and you are dead meat. Fear maybe, but you need attack and return, implosion for tazar, fire immunity for Mutare, I want to see that.
Aine dead on 5.4.5, two days before her archangels get +120 HP each. Timing, baby. I can't even upgrade bless or prayer, no money.

Cast Poison, Clone, Cast Implosion (though I don't know if it is possible to get Implosion before fighting Tazar, if yes then Reduce Def here), Return, Fire Immune, Immunity 3, Rebirth and Cast. Yeah have to sacrifice Reduce Def, that is why I said it is probably only possible for MoW and assume that you get extremely lucky enough to get Mithril bonus for every Special level.

I always choose Fear as one of the abilities for devils,that's very useful against the shooters AI has.
Though I wonder what would be like if I choose ressurect and cast for demons.Alisapa,have you tried it?

Rebirth on Demons doesn't work, since their base abilities don't have Fly which is really important. The point of giving it to AD is so that you can combine the Clone and Rebirth strategies into one, which can effectively buy a lot more turns than usual if played right.

The mermaids are before the whirlpool, you take it once you talk to. Just simple mermaids object, I recall the description has some unusual color, to identify from regular.

No changes to difficulty, champion did not work if you had fly, Yona displayed champion damage but it did not make it on hit.
@Warmonger, you must visit the necromancers house near Pyre to initiate the quest. First time the player fights Pyre he must think wtf they block all, then look around and visit the building nearby. I know, boring when no more first time, but it still stays

Pyre might become real pain in the @ss after the new AI growth.
Previously you just split demons,attack and win without visit to mermaids.
