Stupid mistakes won this game for canucs.
Like Laamanen's shot in the end and a few totally unreasonable penalties and we gave up too easilly in the 1st and 2nd period. No figting for the puck like in the third period.
Congrats to canucs.

So, uh, yeah. The Stars are back in the conference finals for the first time since they almost repeated a championship back in 2000. Woot and such. I really hope we can beat the Red Wings so I can rub it in MM's smug face. 
It's definitely a tall order, though. :\

So, who's gonna win the Worldchampionship?
I'm gonna go with Finland. Big surprise there.
BTW. It looks like half of the Sweden's players are refusing to play this time though.

Yes, yes Finland are gonna win this year no guestion about it  I wish the final match is against the Canucs, it's about time we won it!
Sweden is gonna trop out first, their golden years are over (i hope)
Hmm. Didn't heard from Saku yet. Do you think Koivu is playing Joonas? Either way we have pretty good team.

I'm wondering if he has the motivation for it... 
but I sure hope he has.
Let's hope for canucs in the finals. It would be nice to smack 'em on their own territory. Like we did for Swedes in 95.
EDIT: I have to hand it to USA for being the worst hockey team ever. What kind of behavior is that? 
It looks like only thing they can do is brawl. Maybe someone should tell them that's not what the rink is for. 
I have to hand it to the referees for reaching a new high on bad judging. Or maybe not but it was close(that one canuc game we had few years back had even worse ones).
But how can a shot through the net be legal? (Then again how can you make a goal not count because Nash hit's his own goalie?  )
Of course you can always bribe them but if these were bribed the briber didn't really know how.
Anyways Canucs are tomorrow. Pan here we come.

Wow! I think we deserved the win no mater was it a fake goal. We where better overall and whit so many penalties at last period no wonder they lose, thats what you get when playing head up in your ***.
Oh yeah Canucs tomorrow, better not give USA second change and win this one fair and square

I don't know if it was the USA-game yesterday or what but our first chain was completely worn out. Despite of the valiant effort of the second and third chains the canucs took this one of easy. Even if we don't count the helmet shots (2 goals bounced of from our guys helmets, extremely unlucky for us or extreme skill of the canucs, I vote for our bad luck. It had to take back what it gave us in the USA-game. ) they still win by one goal.
Nash-Getzlaf-Heatley was simply way too good. Only our second chain managed to hold them back a bit.
Congratulations to canadian hockey team that has a sniper called Heatley.
It looks like it's USA again. Hopefully they watched that Canada-game so they can learn to play real hockey this time. The canucs really know how to play good hockey. When you add to that the movement that we finns bring to the game it really makes for a very entertaining game.
USA went down now it's only Russia and were in the final where wel meet you Canucs after you smack Sweden. Then it's payback time.

Russia deserved win the match, they played much better. But it would have been much more graceful if Finland had been able to get in at least one goal.
But we'll probably meet Sweden in the bronze match tomorrow and on sunday it's presumably Russia against the Canadians.

Even Selänne managed to smile in the end though.
EDIT: And the Red Machine stands at the top once again. I had a strong feeling that this might happen after the Sweden game, where the canucs showed that they are vulnerable but Ward was a question mark.
Good game if we don't count the lousy referees and the mistake that Nash did.
I have to confess that I was almost happier when the russians won than I was when we got bronze.
