can anyone give battle strategy for Ylaya killing the inferno castle she suppose to do
i manage to do with Wulfstan,Freyda and Gottai
there's like over 1000 succubus that fires and kill most of my army
but the most difficult is gating
they just produes so many monsters and make you confused on which one to kill

Come on, Ylaya was the easiest by far/ Empoered Deep Freeze with that Icicle she is carrying. And, dude, what's those Matriarchs serve you for? First move confusion on Misstresses. And yeah, gated units are blinking on atb bar, should be no mistake. Good luck.

Never liked him  His jokes is bad and if he was in a movie I would like if someone would kill him.. :S But I hate that this is academy campaign and so far ! Ive play 1.5 mission with him. mission 1, Academy all the way, second mission - Half academy ! HALF HAVEN! (I hate playing haven) - and now 3rd mission.. With fortress town and hero . and then Zehir is just running around playing funny

WULFSTAN HAS!! Hasn't he`? Or is it just me? And Biara? and Isabell is the same from HoF? . not many survied HoMM5 to HoF but from HoF to TotE there is a few

You must be kidding me! He lacked charisma big time in original HommV, in tote, he is the biggest and most welcomed surprise! Better portrait, cool special and good jokes. The point is, the guy is a walking parody of himself, that's where the humor lies! Many times he had me LMAO; but in that last mission of Wizard, when he got out the thing about Godric and sandstorm in the desert I , literally, stopped playing for 5 min! I was first, like, WTF, this is game is forbidden for under 12, what's the point of making such a ridiculous line? And then he added Godric into equation. LMAO. I dunno, I really liked the guy's charisma in TotE.

In that respect, the original Academy campaign sucked as well; the only mission in that campaign where you had an Academy town was in mission 2. All the other missions you had other towns.
Which is also the reason why I think that the Academy campaign in the original game was pretty bad.

HAVE YOU TRIED THE LAST MAP!! ARGH!! Biara got Urgash call and banish suck!!.. It only DEALS dmg instead of Removing them.

a little help please!!!
i'm stuck in the last campaign...last mission...i've taken the gold mines and now i have to take the infernal city with wulfstan...i've tried it a dozen times different strategies, but it seems borderline impossible...it's really frustrating since it's the last mission...and i want to finish it already...by the way... was it only my impression or overall the game is 2 darn difficult?!...anyway ideas anyone?!

yeah, Biara is nasty. Almost 100% gating and Urgash's Call, and Banish, was overpowered as it was, hardly makes any difference now.
And of course she's a fan of Puppet Master (just like Orlando and the wizard in the last orc mission). Good thing I had the ultimate to counter PM with Vampirism.

ok made the town took some hydra from the white elf
now damm u biara cant crack that too what strategy u used to finish here?
i used all but just cant do it i am on 6 month and look like no way to make it.
maybe i will pass a year or too

Do not cast mass light spells! Cast ANY light spell except mass spells, coz then you will be AMAZED by Freyda's special. Let his most dangerous stack kills loads of your low level troops (shooting on Succubi may be a good idea here) Then cast a random light spell on any unit and watch that stack of Mistresses... Btw, how did you manage to take any troops from Ylaya? Anytime I tried to take troops from allied heroes, there was a message telling me that I can only give them mine, not take theirs?

No need for month 12. I defeated her in less then four I believe. But you do need the ultimate. Yeah, not easy giving up Summoning and not being sure if you are gonna be offered War Machines, but you have loads of gold in that mission, and two memory mentors ain't there for nothing. Two pieces of Sar Issus Regalia with bonus for wizard + whole Dwarven Sets= you are gonna cast more often then her , and expert endurance and deflect missile on all troops save the day. First Zehir's cast: PM on Arch Devils, atack Arch Demons, Second cast, vampirism on Titans, then go heavily Phantom with PM ocassionaly. Do not use Banish coz it's rubbish, the percentage of unsummoned troops is laughable... I attacked her with 400+ Grems Sabs, 400+ Magnetic golems, 90+ Battle Mages, 80+ Titans, ~200 Matriarchs, 247 Marksmen (that were adjacent to Titans and got PM destined to Matriarchs  , although if they werent adjacent but just one square away it would be  ) 80+ RR. Lost 20 RR's, 2 Titans (long live vampirism...) all golems, 100 Grems and ~100 Matrons. She was cooked by PM and Phantoms...

I am delusional. Four months I would have to be Heroes god (which I am not ) Took her on first day of month six, I just checked. Oh yeah, luck 10 can come in handy

On map three now. Just started. But wanted to ask...is it necessary to buff up Duncan? As in second half of second map, most (all big) fights I did with Freyda, and leveled up her only.

Not at all. There is one fight for them in the next map, and Freyda fights it (which makes sense, Duncans special isn't much for combat). In fact, make sure all the artifacts are on Fredya when you complete the mission.

now, i still didn't know who's the dark messiah
don't tell me it's the main character in the RPG game
cuz i was thinking that I need to kill the baby of Isabell and Soverign to end the game
I don't think the game is finished by just Biara dying
