One of my most humiliating defeats was something even a 'n00b' would find a bit n00bish. Was advancing forward with a main and secondary hero (the second picking up stray resources and carrying most of my army). Came into sight of the other player, and saw that they had a rather sizable army. Not to fear, I had plenty of army. So...I proceed to exchange artifacts, etc. Only..I forgot to put my secondary's army into my mains..and before I realized..hit end turn.
Needless to say they thrash my main, destroy my secondary without much trouble and it is GG.

This technically doesn't count as a humiliating loss, as it was against Elvin, who is very skilled. However, did a very stupid thing and was out of the game from week one.
Found some executioners..and since they were 'moderate' decided to clash with them. Was week one (or two??) and there were 24 of them. They sent me packing home, the contest was over right then. However, two magic weeks followed. It was fun

Told ya, not much you can do in a week 3 rush that involves titans, archmages, mini arties and armageddon On week of fire and ice no less

Boy it has been a while since I updated this. It is time for you to behold my mighty stature in its full glory going down faster than water down the drain I did not play that bad but there were a few problems:
-For one no puppet, no phoenix, no frenzy - the cornerstone for every decent necromancer's survival.
-Unknown map that ended up week 7, jinxer's maps are damn large
-Opponent had boots of speed and kept getting everything before I did.
-In the final battle he had many kispagats  Just look at their stats and deadly efficiency!

I watched the replay...what can I say... it was kinda slaughter. No offence Elvin, but Sylvan just smashed your whole army. And, suprisingly enough, it was not arcanes nor dragons that did it, yet dancers + unicorns.

Surprisingly? Why, you think it's the arcanes that get the job done for sylvan?  Yep necro has no chance without the right spells in lategame, even with them it would be hard. Also long map equals to 3-4 favoured enemies for sure.

I would not say it was that bad. Sylvan vs necro is always this kindda battle. If necro survives 4 turn, victory is close to them. You can believe me, I had so much of this matchup in hof ages, on hg against Cycle and Arteman.
Naturally, without spells, necro has no chance.
Btw I had both boots, and immune to frenzy also. It counted so much that I stole book of dark before your nose.
Off topic: Sylvan is the best this kindda maps, and in tote sylvan become lot stronger. They are exactly same as Samiekl OVERPOWERED.

Even with right spells, this late it's impossible to win as necro. PLayed a game some time ago, i got sylvan vs necro. They got my morale to -5 and still almost all my unicorns were alive at the end of battle. Plus i had no resurrection and no familiar ground.

Its very hard to write it down, but I need to admit that my lower tier is right.
Btw my hero had magic immunity and mass cleansing just in case.

I was thinking on this, I must tell you that Elvin took the garrisons brightly. If he rushed a little bit more, maybe he could break one guard on week 4 and have final battle on week 5. That gives hope to necro. So maybe map is not lost for necro, just need to skip half of the map.

I'm convinced that I still would have a chance if I had puppet and phoenix but yes I should navigate the map faster and take the battle to the opponent. Also I neglected the possibility of sunken temple, I simply forgot about it If there's one thing about jinxer's maps is that you feel lost at first Heck battlezone scares me, it's twisted!

Actually no, bz is ok from this point of view, the garrisons are stupid because they force you to take them late. Try playing dungeon there

Well I'm currently playing aganist Jinxer now (and Yes I'm Naadir Jinxer is Vinrael) I've been all over my territory and just break first North Garrison (30 Angels, 50 Champions, 150 Imp.Griffs)
and its week 5) so you may be able to explore alot even till week 5
(yes I'm been at the Sunken Temple...)
Again Jinxer this is an Very nice map for sure!!!

I tought you like bz, cuz normal way of dungeon play (based on destructive) is sentenced to death there. You can use your attack orientated, light magic focused dungeon there.

i used to like bz, but now the garrisons are stupid. You need destruction though, also summoning and light. it leaves you with no logistics which is crap.
