Efreets got higher speed than dragon flies.

What's the cap % chance for Death Blow btw? I test a bit (set the chance to 90%) and only get 1 out of 6-7 attack (hell even at 100% I'm sure that it will not certainly appear for every attack). So I assume that the current Death Blow ability (75%) also doesn't work properly. This ability not only doesn't really give Double Damage like it describes, but the % chance to happen also isn't right, so... terrible .
^OvidiuG: No Demons, IIRC by this time you could get at least 10k Demons or something, making the fight become much easier. Also since Dragon Flies have 100% chance to cast Dispel don't bother to buff anything (except Frenzy on the first round), focus on Resurrection and Cloning instead (clones will take away lots of DFlies attack because they don't have Breath or All Around attack).
And shouldn't you have already got Sorrow at this point?

ye, chance to happen is pretty low.
I am farming demons as we speak. you say 10 k, possible to have that, but you don't have enough mithrill to make em beasts.
Frenzy is pretty useless after 1st cast. He has expert Shield so clone kills 6 k or something, he attacks main stack of devils in round 3
I am curious if we can kill him now, with devils, not in 3 4 days with 10 k demons (which I doubt will change many things) I assume 10 k demons will do less than a clone and will die in 1 2 hits.

Test a bit, needs more Efreets and spread properly because with only 5 per stack Thunar Meteor Shower/Chainlightning will clear your Efreets extremely quick, at some points it's even recommended to upgrade Health for Efreets.
No Double Cast... For someone who usually play MoE this is too painful.
Again, shouldn't we already get Sorrow at this point? Check and he didn't have either Dispel or Cure, and thus Sorrow will play a huge role with its -6 Morale (hell even -4 alone can make a huge difference).

Yes sorrow is a must there, and pray his resistance does not ignore it too much. AI loves casting shield or prayer on first turn, thus sorrow will make its job, depends on luck. I would say, starting with Aine, you NEED demons for every battle, no way. Here is my Thunar battle 7.3.6 with MoW:
I am still tuning a few battles, Erdamon needed big tweak as the new growth makes the 3777 dracoliches impossible to beat (2500 devils kill only 150 on hit, if lucky and no block). if he casts clone on dracoliches you are dead, so it needs a precise pattern (dispel every round to keep him casting shield). Set him to 1891 dracoliches, then ok, yet hard battle.
@Edit: checked your save, a few observations:
1) From damacon castle, take south, remove white border gate and get sorrow (kill josephine also).
2) Your spells are not well upgraded, prayer/bless are only 1%, resurrect can still be upgraded. Don't ignore spells upgrades, they get better, specially resurrect. Then of course upgrade sorrow, as is very good against AI or neutrals (works on azures and phoenixes too)

Sorrow is easy attainable, I think I can get Sorrow and attack him in same day , still sorrow then do what with his shield?
Will also get all efreets. demons are not an option . Actually will get em though with haste enchant and + 3 from artifacts they will have 16 speed . curious if it'll work
I clearly need more man power on that fight, I am skeptical with Sorrow though.

I'm quite curious to know why you didn't raise the Sorrow cap to -9 Morales or something, it's usual for enemy Heroes to have +4-5 Morales so -6 is not enough to get them to - 3 Morales effect. Too strong I assume? Because they spell gets immuned most of the time (either Immunity 4, non living, cursed ground or normal Resistance skill), also Cure.

So far sorrow has a fixed cap and there is no way to get it past -6. But even -2 is doing good job, and you can have -6 in TEW. Anyway, I don't think rushing with MoS to extreme is still doable, AI is strong. I would take a few days with MoS and do dragon's cave 100 fights (with MoS this is 2-3 days), and get extra mithril from + special bonuses.

@OvidiuG: Check all of your Heroes and you only have 2 Corpucopias.... There is a one near Kragg and one near Still Water (hidden Seer Hut, right side of the Utopia and 3 Faerie Rings), basically you are losing 600 resources per type every day. Told you Sal that there should be some hints/notes about the Cornucopias location because I also miss a lot in my first games.
You also ignore all the CBs in the river near Deepshadow, and probably more but I can't point out every single one of it.

I can't see how seer huts and cornucopias can be ignored: you have V key to spot artefacts and a big special dialog I put time in to design, which will show all seer huts locations, all you have to do after killing AI hero is to take a look and go to location. I know this is quite new for heroes game, but if you get some better game-play hints, profit!

In my first game I'm so hooked up in farming CBs and advancing I usually forget to check whether does that Hero reward me anything after killing him (Quest guards are different because you need to clear them to advance, seer huts are not on the other hand unless the artifacts they give are for quest guards). I also forgot which seer huts I have finished and which huts I haven't, so pretty much have to open Map Editor and check clearly each one (since they don't disappear after being finished like Quest guards). Yes that was a long time ago but I can see why this can happen to lots of people.

A completed seer hut will give the name of the seer, before it says only "seer hut" which means not visited. Come on...it is easy, you have 3 dialogs : one to find border color gates, one for seer huts, one for border gates, everything is attainable within a single click.

TEW is not a map for debutants, requires being comfortable with both WoG and SoD mechanics, is not a tutorial neither, but most of things are explained in game-help or read me txt. This is the best I could do.

I don't see how an extra 400 resources / day would have a major impact ? I couldn't be arsed looking for it. I know there should be 1 more at this time of map but didn't bother really. When I played mow i got 4 and think I refused to trade 1 for admiral hat. (after Arlach)
Just that resources are so redundant after you have Fire Bonus. ye, I don't have it but should be doable soon with spoils of war.
However what does Cave of Dragons do after 100 fights?

Actually 800 resource per day because you miss 2.
Cave of Dragons give infinite fights (mostly to farm Special level, and small chance to give an artifact from Angelic set), if you have enough movement and man power to fight that is, the dragon numbers scale with days, not with fights.
Resources will never be redundant with the Mithril Market and Magic Shop. Too many Resources? Exchange them for Mithrils. Too many Mithrils now (rarely ever happen though aside from maybe MoW), there is a Magic Shop later for you (can exchange Mithrils for 5 all stats, also the ability the exchange stats for more Devils).

After Piquedram cornucopias give +300 each, which means 900 resources daily (you should have 3 of them by then). Not bad, having 4 spells upgrade every 4 days.

I remember one of the huts gives spirit of oppresion.
Edit-I checked-not seer hut,but it is beyond the green gate after Gundula.

Farmed there neck + boots , helm I've got from seer, ..and really, I can end turn till month 8 if I want more mithril / troops. What's the point?. I am showing some fights, where maybe I miss something crucial and I am not ashamed , but maybe the balance is not quite there...

you won't have the gold to trade there and even if you do you get to little mithril, price is prohibitive.
Anyway, 1 day later I get in with demons. get him in resurrect phase and Notice I don't have enough Mana. Fun or what?

Hey no one is accusing you of bad game-play, don't be ashamed
I was only saying that MoS is the hardest if you want to do fast, as it needs all details being completed, cornucopias, spells upgrades, demons and so on. If one ignores one of those, the battles may look too hard and have to go back or wait.
