Managed to finish MoS yesterday. m7w1d7 Think is perfectly doable in m6w4 or even better if better played. I myself lost 3 days on Rissa, due to her titans having hatred vs. ADs, so I waited new week, 2 days on Thunar gathering troops and also 2 days on Fafner cos I was missing 10 upgrades to reach Fire bonus.

Overall I greatly enjoyed playing Master of Speed.

The general mobility, banks don't have time to go very high in creatures and can be cleared in on QC most of time.
The mithril Bonus is very appealing and somehow justified. My best attempt was 51 banks in 1 day then I realized I could have a better path which could bring up to 65-70 banks in same day. I expect other players can go above that. 60 banks (starting month 7) means 2190 mithril in 1 day. Maybe I'll reload before Maximus and do a try. Anyway I will let Valery decide whether is appropriate to modify this bonus.

MoS provides many tight battles, especially in early stages of the journey. So gathering fast mithril is a must in order to survive. +1 Bonus helps a lot there but requires water bonus in order to shine so you can't abuse it very early. Also consider getting Navigation early on Rion. Toughest battles for me: Zydar, Wystan, Gerwulf, Thunar, Daremyth maybe a few others.

Special level up is very nice concept. Some bonuses would be more desirable, and players might be tempted to control the bonuses. It requires some planning, it won't come up easily, so I guess is Ok like this. i tried to do that once when i had 4 heroes ready to lvl up and got unlucky, but overall I received a hefty bunch of spare devils and mithril during random level ups. Can't complain.

I liked the part where you could buy movement points and complete Labyrinth in 1 day. I got a secondary hero stuck on Cactus quest for 6 -7 days and I finished map before being able to get out of that area. I liked that the last heroes got their armies increased in order to balance the Combo bonus. Still an extremely powerful bonus, but the battles won't be doable 1st round like in v2. \

I had 8 town overall, I considered that 1280 mithril required to transform 9th town was not a plus compared to the amount of benefits you could get by investing mithril in something else. I maxed devils and demons DMG and Health, speed enough to move before Sacred Phoenixes, and bought 3 x + 5dmg on Demons after cap , in order to brute force Pyre

As a conclusion : An extraordinary Map, a masterpiece with great new concepts, a must try for all the former and actual HoMM3 fans.

Thanks for review. Just a note: 9th town is required to have 9 markets and the lowest exchange ratio, in case you sell resources, check with 8 then check with 9 to see the difference. Is more about economy later (specially with MoW) than army size. Also the caves give less devils, is hero level *4 for devils, hero level *30 for imps (because I love demons), looks like there was an error in v3 inverting the values.

As last changes before final, I will move the dwarven quest much earlier, as it takes 1-2 weeks then I will remove the request to keep archers until Pyree as it is clear that it could lead to dead way if player did not read. So you will have a bit more mithril earlier and more demons.

Is what I've got. in that screen 1300 devils are from 5 caves, 260 each , 4 per level * hero lvl 65, No error

Ye: I know that best conversion rate comes from 9 market places. 1 MR is 225 Gold with 8 markets and 250 with 9. for MoS dunno if it's necessary.

Also I didn't buy an extra Rebirth, Last battle can be done w/o efreets. Depends if you re-arrange Maximus troops can be impossible or requires a complete different tacts which might require efreets with incresed number of resurects

A funny thing, Tried to raise demons from 2 k efreets but they were trained into Ace level so I've got jack , as the number is calculated from the re birthed amount

Ah ok, I thought you got 2500 from one cave, from 5 is ok. If you going to farm efreets into demons, don't train them and they will not rebirth.
Rebirth is only at ace level or something close. Easier.

Ok, I did the changes in editor. After killing Lorelei, the former dwarven refugees is now a simple seer hut and will give 5000 archers for evil elemental quest (you choose to keep them or farm into demons, your business). The former dwarven refugees was moved into underground and now will open access to cactus area as soon as you kill Selena (now there is a teleport near her town which will bring you to the area).

In my experience with the older version the demons are correctly raised from the whole stack of efreets,not the rebirthed ammount(with ace experience on efreets when they go into battle).

depends on their training level. If they're no trained they don't have the abilities active so Rebirth won't work -> full conversion rate.

If Rebirth is active, which comes , at level 5 or 6 of training, then you get 400 demons from 2k efreets

For instance, on devils , Reduce Defense is available at level 1, but all other abilities like clone , immunities etc, are inactive.

In fact the cactus area works as everything based on rolling variables, will change cactus placement on reload autosave, so it is doable in one day if enough patience and cheater soul.

Ovidiu, farming from efreets is not different, rebirth or not, I did it always and ok. Maybe you hadn't enough pit lords or some bug I don't know...

You got me intrigued, I am 100% sure as I did the battle less then 12 hours ago. My farming hero had 2500+ pitlords and I said that I don't need the efreets for last battle so why not making em demons.

So I attacked a bank, meteor showered the stack of efreets to death, they raised to 400, You can't transform initial stack as it happens during the efreet round. and after the 400 stack dies you transform the remains into 400 demons.

is pretty clear to me. if self resurrect won't work then you'll get full amount of demons. with resurrect you get 20% of initial stack

I always farmed efreets into exact ratio, in first tests they always had ace and rebirth, then I understood it is shorter if they are not trained. But the quantity I got was same, no matter the experience level. So looks like a bug, would be interesting to have a save and check.

Regarding + 1 bonus for MoS I said I will let Valery decide whether is appropriate to make modifications on it.

But I have to add that 60+ banks / day can be done w/o having Movement points bought from Magic Shop. If you consider that imagine that 20 million of gold can bring your hero movement to something like 25k (15 k base +10k with gold) Imagine that translated into Mithril.

if you get 80 banks in 1 day start month 7 means 3720 mithril in 1 day.

Maybe do not modify the +1 Bonus, rather make the movement point purchase possible once for 1 hero (specially designed for Labyrinth)

Look,I can't say what is easy to be changed and what not,but after you suggesting further modification,Sal can make prices (in mithril or gold)too high and this fun that you had will inevitably be denied for other players.

I mean after exosting farming players deserve a little fun,right?

The cost of movement points was raised to 2 millions, in link on page 82. There is no more cap for shipwrecks or 20 maximum. I am not sure MoS can afford to spend a lot of millions to buy movement points, but if he does for mithril, he will not have for labyrinth, where his heroes will be immobile during a week, so a choice. Anyway the movement bonus can be fully exploited later game and requires some wise planning, so I will let him, who will complain?

3700 mithril is not so much at stat stage, when one more rebirth is 4000.

Congratulation Ovidiu, do you intend to play Master of Elements after this? It is a mix between MoS and MoW in advanced speed, slower than MoS a bit but faster than others because of Teleport Shrines and Double Cast at start, also very unique bonuses compared to other factions.

I am playing MoE now, one shrine on dragons cave, one on arena, already alchemist gives me 100 mithril day with 10xlevel 50 heroes inside. A little MoW, that's it. Everybody has relics equipped and battles are twice easier because of double cast. I enjoy the facility.

I will upload new version of the map this evening. Only 2 quests changed, dwarven and evil elemental. Other things as previous.

I am not asking for modifications Is part of the thrill, I agree, after all you get these numbers only in late parts of the map when is not that important.

My intention was to raise attention on parts that could get exploited if not considered thoroughly.

I will definitely try MoE one day. will have a break now, last month was dedicated to H3, and little time left for other stuff

I remember when I played MoE the alchemist gave 50 mithirl per 10xlevel 50 heroes in it.Maybe you changed it?

it gives 2 mithril per 10 levels hero has. So every level 50 hero will generate 10. I don't recall changing this, or maybe.
