It was 1 mithril per 10 levels in the begining for MoE/MoS(when you leave hero in alchemist).
Was 2 mithils from 10 levels for MoW-I mean heroes produced them anyway(no need of alchemist).

Does MoW still produce 2 mithrils per 10 levels?
If yes,you could modify it to 4.

And I do remember that Alchemist Lab give 1 Mithril per 10 level indeed, but maybe you can make it become a bonus for the faction also (because a Sorcerer also has better knowledge about Alchemist, something like that, don't know how to describe properly ).

hehe, no. I think I changed it later because it looked to me not worth to level one noob to 50 then get only 10 bars. It will give as MoW but you lose the hero.

As for oasis, I will not penalize the imaginative player, for example I never thought at that possibility. Dragon cave is difficult to battle early, takes much time and levels the hero fast, thus you can have problems later with experience caps. But if one wants to reload before each battle until he gets a relic, that's his problem, patience and boredom will be  rewarded.

With new growth, no. Dragons kick ass early and you will spend 150-200 mana each fight. Not to mention you will need early to invest in speed to be able to go in obstacles gap first.

I don't know if someone noticed, but one artefact was changed for v3, specially for dragons cave:

Sal,did you made a test with level 100 hero in alchemist?
I refer to the screen of Warmonger,where putting hero in alchemist would give 0 mithril.

Nice artifact adition to the map,will make wonders in the right hands.

Level 88-108 are ghost levels, I never try them because of 100% bugs. Risky.

If one day VCMI will add support from erm and this map will be playable on it, I will gladly remove about 1000 lines of codes dealing with SoD bugs.

Daremyth became easy when I decided to ignore mages & gremlins and to block only titans. After some round they were drained and dead.

I spent like last day trying to defeat Wystan. First forgetfulness on Gremlins. Then frenzy, prayer, air shield.

When there is only one strong stack of titans left, I use clone spell to destroy the Wystan clone and block the main stack. After few round, they are reduced.



And victory



I used Arcane Tower to boost not only attack, but also defense. Finally needed to stand against Titan shots for a while.

Alisapa, no idea why a 2 Mo save changed in 72 Mo on wikisend.

Question: I am always annoyed by the fact that emissaries have no defend/hit and poor animation, if I replace them with this, good idea or not?

Same link, another map.

I did not change any of the things working previously, but:

1) MoS cumulative mithril bonus remains and works on every creature bank.
2) Map changed: now dwarven cactus quest is renamed demons quest and is available immediately after defeating Selena. Will give 1200 mithril.
3) The former dwarven refugee was changed to seer hut requiring Lorelei death (right before Pyree and evil elemental). Will give 5000 archers that you can farm into demons later, so it means 5000 more demons for your last 3 fights.
4) Added the crimson shield of retribution in wystan area, which allows you to retaliate against creatures which have no retaliation, see dragons cave
5) The devil's cave will refuse to buy equipped admiral hats, because when do so, the head slot will remain locked (bug, thanks Ovidiu). Put the last one in backpack if you want to sell it.
6) Added right-click on end turn to deal with screwed imps crucibles, see next.
7) Replaced emissaries of mana with funny animated genies. If one does not like them, just remove cprsmall.def and twcrport.def from commodus.pac, will revert to original.

Remaining issue not yet tested: imps crucibles, some of them turn into dead objects (about 3-4 from 42) but no one reported being deadly or crash. I will continue to test them and try for some fix, but not sure I find what to do. My conclusion is that is related to map size and some objects limit. Because of this it is not final version, I need to be fixed about those damnt crucibles. But there will be no other changes in mechanics.

Okay, so you placed Shield of Retribution, but what happened with Necklace of Swiftness? Is it available on the map at all?

If not, Piquedram will become a pain, just need +1 speed on all creatures :/

Seriously, in my games the shield is much more interesting than the necklace, having an effect you can not get anywhere. While the speed, you can buy it.

I am in difficult situation, adding anything in the map is screwing things and provokes crashes, so I can only replace. XXL issues...

So do you change Alchemist Lab into giving 1 Mithril per 5 levels or keep it as 1 Mithril per 10 levels like the old version?!

And for some reasons it take me quite a long time to wait for the AI (about 4-5s or more) when they aren't supposed to do anything, are they?! Play normal maps and the AI speed is still extremely fast for me.

I have less than 1 sec AI turn, maybe you are experiencing lags on day 1 when all timers are running, but this is 1 sec max too.

So I try deleting some of those Decoration objects (don't worry, just decoration or minor objects that serve no purposes) and map indeed works faster. So maybe it's because of the object overflow? I don't know.
