Can't blame 3DO for not trying to destroy the series. And they nearly did by forcing new world computing to create a new game every 6 months or was it 12. Ah big companies..

OK I know some things in the DLC should not be seen. but...
I actually have found an artifact from the Great Lich's set.

Just finished the DLC (again).
It is sad how such a short story can create a much better atmosphere and make you lot more interested in the potential future stories than the entire campaign of the original game.
Just after the last dialog part I was thinking to myself what for an interesting character Jon is, if he will ever see his father again, or his son with his grandfather and how I would like to see if Falagar managed to reunite with his Daughter.
The original story could not do this.

Edit: Also, some mod should unstick this thread and maybe stick the expansion thread

Is there a way to play the expansion (Savage sea) without being online. I can play it if I go online but cannot if I start the game offline.

The answer would be no
PoSS is a content which is bound to your Uplay profile, since You do not have access to your Uplay profile while playing offline, you can not acces this part of the game.
In other words. To play the DLC you have to have the key. The key is connected to your profile, not to your game.

It seems to me that PoSS is a fairly short campaign, so I guess I can live with that.
Hopefully with the real expansion (shades of darkness) we won't have this limitation.
