The Stronghold one doesn't look good at all. Just a bunch of buildings, has no resemblance to an actual city.

Everybody will get them with the next patch.

The question I have in mind is: which faction will Crag lead? Haven (as human), Stronghold (as barbarian), Sanctuary (as sea-campaign)? A new one seems... Unexpected alas.

Obviously Ubisoft didn't...
And I'm so glad they released a DLC, now that the game is all patched up and fully balanced.

After all we've had to endure with this game since its release, they should at least give us this DLC for free. In my mind, the game is still not complete. Now to add insult to injury, they're charging us for things that should already be included. The lack of maps is terrible, which may be the ONLY reason I'd ever consider getting this.

Maybe limbic need the money to continue funding development? Besides, the official release did say new item sets, dynasty weapon and more secrets, could be more creatures maybe?
I'm a fan of the stronghold screen, instead of a city, it looks like an encampment. Fits them imo

My only objection is that in both towns now there is apparent lack of any other building aside the ones in build tree. Stronghold one could have used several extra random tents that would appear as town hall gets upgraded.
Nevertheless, a solid upgrade from what we have now.
As far as price goes, i think half (5€) would have been much more reasonable.

I agree with you somewhat about the lack of extra buildings, but I'm curious if they can capture that feeling when everything is moving and stuff is happening on screen.
The thing that I'm also curious about is, will the actual town be changed in game? Because the new townscreen is on a mountain/lush terrain, whilst the actual in game city is in the middle of a desert.

Yea, the legacy which they should've kept from the start. Well I'm not surprised, the facebook Might&Magic page is swarming with people like you who just throw their money at Ubisoft without a second thought.

Town Screens... i'd say better later than never!!! dont you think?
and if you know a better alternative TBS game please let me know..
oh well you dont!!!
thats my point..
there are a LOT of things i personally dont like in Heroes6,
BUT i dont want to be amongst the people ready to KILL the franchise just because "its not the way i WANT"!
Reality is that Ubi is not making games because of "charity"
they need to make money in order to deliver better product in future..
I would like to see expansions , i would love to see Heroes7!
and 10 euros is nothing to pay for my beloved HoMM to stay alive!!
that's my opinion..
And please don't generalize people.. "swarming with people like you"
cuz this expression can be used vise-versa
referring to people who doesnt want to pay a penny ,but expect everything..

Don't worry, I'm sure we've all come to understand that we shouldn't really expect anything from Ubisoft in the future.

you got a wrong impression about me..
i am not a teenager
i am almost 27 years old
i do have a well payed job though..
but i do work for it in order to earn money..
that's not the point..
i d say that i am not a typical "gamer"
i play only 3-4 games, and not regular at all
but amongst this 3-4 games HOMM is my favourite!
and i dont want it to share the faith of Disciples series
which died because of poor sales..

And yet, it's probably be the best thing that could happen to the license. Keep paying Ubisoft and they won't let it go and they'll make a H7 that will make you cry like a baby because they forgot to add XXX which is the essence/soul/core of the game since H1 and once they'll add it in a patch 1 or 2 years later, you'll restart worshipping them like gods ...
Sorry to say, but everything that was added in 1.1 through 1.4 and also including 1.5 should have been in the game at the release, not slowly being patched over the course of a year. Releasing a DLC when the game still isn't in a satisfactory state is insulting and people who will buy it just deserve to be offered more games like H6 (in its release state) in the future.
Also 10€ is NOT the price of a DLC. For 10€, I can buy 3 indie games that will give me fun for a lot longer than 10 hours. Maybe if the price was 5€ (the usual 4.99 price), I'd be less reluctant about funding the future of the brand, but Ubisoft does NOT deserve to be given an extra 10€ for nothing atm.
