Anyone know what 10 euros equates to in U.S. dollars? Nice of them to even think of us lowly Americans again when it comes to this game.
Anyway, I have to agree with the majority of sentiment here. Putting out DLC and expecting people to pay for it when they haven't even come close to finishing the game is pathetic.

Anyway, Nelgirith pretty much said it all. You are not helping the franchise survive, you are not helping Heroes VI become a better game and you are certainly not helping the community deliver a proper message. All you are doing is providing sustenance to a fat, shameless and greedy company so it can stay fat, shameless and greedy. They read the Internet media and they see people like you, ready to mindlessly pay for every **** they produce no matter that they've sold a broken product just before that (and never said even one "sorry"). You'll do well if you consider the consequences of your "help".

I think anyone should have the right to buy this if they want. Truth is, if they sell really well they probably won't improve the game. However if they don't sell anything they won't have any reason to improve neither. So let the people who would buy anything help funding the improvement while the rest (which probably will be the majority) help improving the game by not buying the game.

In world of my dreams such DLC is another patch for H6. Sincerely, I really expected that every patch will bring us new maps and interesting features, like... fx.(old) WoW patches. I think that there's still a lot from (old)Blizzard Fanboy in me.
I knew Ubisoft, but H6 and especially its "post-launch services" are just <insert random rude word here>. Once again, I was, we all were taken for a ride... Huge disappointment.
Eh... I still love this game.

what, there are still content in every WoW patch
and mists of pandaria is amazing, it has such a great atmosphere and amazing lore behind it
way better than failaclysm (but the 1-60 rework of the old world was nescessary)

Huge offtop: Yeah, WoW patches are still good and "Pandamonium" is intresting for me, something new in Azeroth, but... I don't like some of "Blizz actions" (like selling pets, mounts, "official gold selling" -> Guardian Cub (that winged-lion pet)) and fact that the content is much easier than in TBC times. I can't stand the difference, "gap", between how many rides/dungeons Blizzard have announced before relase of Cataclysm, and how many actually are/were available in game. FX. Abyssal Maw Raid, War of the Ancients raid (rumor), etc.
Back to the topic:
I find rumors that Marzhin made new "campaign" for "The Savage Seas". Maybe we'll see some Sea Elves? (Hint - Neutrals in DotCH).

Just to compare, Civilization 5's DLCs, which usually contain ONE fully playable CIV, are only 5 dollars a piece, which is roughly a third of the price for H6's DLC.
I think the price itself is agreeable enough, if we get more than just one extra faction or one additional campaign. I do believe we only get a campaign with this? That's kind of really disappointing and not worth the money imo, especially since Town Screens shall be available with the next patch anyways (whenever that is)

Maybe new "kraken" boss , or some Vori references?
I suggest to make a "must-have" features list for this, or next, DLC and send it to Ubi... Maybe "it's" not as deaf as I think.
* New neutrals (core, elite & champion),
- Sea Elf Corsair - Core,
- Sea Monster (from H4 - Elite,
- Kraken - Champion or Boss,
* Dwellings for neutrals,
* At least one boss,
* New multiplayer maps,
- New mp maps with bosses?
Yeah, I know. It's pointless a little bit.

yes i took into consideration both sides,
and yes i think that buying DLC is a better option then not buying it.
and well u have the full right not to like my posting style, but this is the way i express my opinion..
i personally like the way you post, and mostly agree with your opinion.
but in this matter i think opposite..
This "shameless" company created Assassin's Creed , which in my opinion is an incredible game,
so they can create good product
HoMM 5 at least was not bad at all (especially ToE)
and i still do believe in them, even though they made billion of mistakes in Heroes6, which i dislike a lot..
if i start complaining about things i didnt like it will take hours..
but there were things i liked as well, so i have a hope..
Also one of the main factors that make me disagree with a lot of people here, is that DLC is not even out yet
and everyone is spitting in Ubi's face, not even knowing anything about the new campaign!
it has the same chances to be good or bad..
so sounds like premature judgement..

In Poland, "Pirates of the Savage Sea" will be released not only in the DLC form, but also in boxes! I don't know what is the situation in other countries. Someone must send a question to Irina.

Well Civ V DLC used to be alot more expensive in the past. Not to mention that it was in a far far worse state compared to HOMM VI.
Right now Civ DLC is still isn't priced extremely well seeing as the added factions dont add too much, However it can get much much worse Take as example Train Simulator 2012 the DLC for that game is outrageous.
Right now for me the homm VI DLC is somewhere inbetween those two. I might consider buying it by then. And one euro / hour is not so bad. For the average console game you pay 65 Euro And i think i can count the console games i paid 65 Euro for on one hand.
So all in all not to bad of a deal. For i think for the future of homm i can spare a few euro's

to be fair, Civ5 is also patched into becoming a reasonably balanced game, making their DLC's worthwhile, since you will actually... you know... enjoy playing the game.
H6 hasn't reached that level yet, sadly. It is so methiculously repetitive and needs a pretty big overhaul in game-mechanics.

HoMM 5 at least was not bad at all (especially ToE)
People have such a short memory. Let's recall what Heroes V was like from the beta on:
1. People see that the beta is nearly unplayable due to bugs and scream at Ubisoft to delay the launch (Internet campaign and whatnot). The result is about 2 months delay (if I remember correctly). Nobody's happy with it except the screaming noobs who want it NOW no matter if it's playable or not.
2. After the release the game is still nearly unplayable, i.e. hundreds of bugs, some of which game-breaking, not to mention occasional crashes to the desktop. And no map editor so you are stuck with the idiotic campaign and the 10 or so maps (most of which small) that came with the game.
3. After about 3 months of patching, the most disruptive bugs are cleared (the game is still not bug-free at all though) but the balance is so terrible that MP is out of the question. Then the patching mostly stops.
4. Aaaand 6 months after the release of the original version Ubisoft release the first expansion, Hammers of Fate. The game's pretty much bug-free (nothing major at least) and even though the balance is still bad, it's starting to become playable.
So it turns out that Ubisoft could have delayed the game a bit more and release it without bugs and with one extra faction but they did what?
5. A looong intermission follows, if we don't count some minor patches (can't remember if they were more than one), and then TotE follows.
Yes, TotE was a good game, even a good Heroes despite all the things I don't like about the whole Heroes V concept but it ultimately is what the original version of Heroes V should have been - a game without major bugs, with decent balance, good multi-player and all the usable content present from the start (think the map editor and the RMG, even though the latter was crap in Heroes V). So it took them more than an year to produce a decent game but they charged the players twice before that - while only TotE was really worth its money.
Now the history is repeating itself almost completely but yet again you and other people still "have faith" in Ubisoft. Why? Even if they produce good games, these good games are the handiwork of other departments while Heroes is in the hands of morons and even the most deluded fanboys should have figured that out by now. Just stop encouraging them.

Don't forget that by releasing the game early, one can even say that they get thousands of game-testers for free - no, they get thousands of game-testers who pay UbiSoft to find bugs for them - instead of UbiSoft having to pay someone to find the bugs. I'm not saying that they did make this reasoning, because I don't know if they did, but it does sort of lure in the background as an ugly shadow.
