Honestly, I wasn't too thrilled with multiplayer being added to ME3, but I have found it to be enjoyable.
My handle is AtticusNines but only if you see a character named AtticusNines doing awesome. If that person is doing bad, it is not me.
Generally I play as a soldier (human or turian), adept (human), and engineer (human or salarian). I have not had much luck with weapons other than finding than unlocking the Talon, which is crazy awesome for a pistol.
As to Galactic Readiness, I feel it's kind of a joke seeing as how the endings are kind of a joke.

In regards to the endings, I think Bioware just one upped Gainax.

honestly I think that ME3 is probably almost by far the best game in the series
I have not finished the game yet and even if the ending sucks, 99% of the rest of the game will have been great
I don't understand what people think was so much better in ME1.
Imo ME1 was a lot more tedious and boring than ME2 and ME3.
edit: WOW the ending of the Rannoch ending can really be heartbbreaking
I had to restart the entire mission because I just couldn't stand the consequences of my original choice in that mission.
It was the most soulcrushing thing I have ever experienced in a game.

I wouldn't say ME1 is that much better, but there were some mechanics that could have been improved that instead got simplified in ME2 and in ME3, like the exploration part - which was indeed tedious in ME1 but should not have been removed completely.
Other than the poor endings, the one thing that annoys me in ME3 is how the game has become VERY linear compared to ME1 and ME2. In the 2 first episods, there were many active quests you could complete while exploring the game, in ME3, you rarely have more than 2 active quests and you have almost no choice on what to make next.
That said, ME3 is an excellent game, but it could have been even better if there were more ME1/ME2 elements in it

Agreed. Didn't think I could ever shed a tear (or 2 !) for the Geths
Quote: Interesting article defending the reaction of angry fans to the ending.
The link contains spoilers.
That article is spot on, except maybe for reason 2. What I find unbelievable is that ME3 is a game that has such a fantastic storyline and it clearly did deserve a better ending. I find it rather insulting to have only mere color differences between all the endings and absolutely no infos on the consequences of what I've done through ME1, ME2 and ME3 once the game is over.
Also ... Reason 5 was like a slap in the face
What pisses me off the most is that I have the feeling that the "indoctrinement theory" is right and that we'll get the real end through a DLC

You should see the Quarian ending! That what was made me change my choice. I have always insisited on not reloading any part of the game to change a choice, but I just couldn't stand what happens to the Quarians there.

Pfft I don't see what you peeps have against the endings (I haven't looked at them all so I can't comment on the rest only my own) it has everything I wanted from the start.
Minor spoiler:
Survive to enjoy a planet with a sandy beach with my crew (most importantly my gal) and nuke the galaxy back to the stone age. (Forgot when relays go boom they actually do so at such a massive scale, my bad )
Edit: Oh and to contradict that annoying kid in the end: he says that they're doing this to combat chaos, but didn't he say that created always rebel against their creators? (eg: machines vs organics, children vs parents, et cetera)
'Always' is a sure-sign of order.

meh tbh I didn't really care for the VS
Ashley looks horrible in ME3, and all encounters with Kaidan were pretty weird. Second mission he's like, "You still with Cerberus?", Shepards says no. And then every single hospital visit he has to talk about it like its still a huuuuuuuuge deal and my Shepard is like "It's fine. -.-" and then when he gets out of hospital he asks my Shepard out for a date and I turn him down (because i'm being loyal to Liara, also it kinda sucks that they sucked the James Vega romance - it's obvious that there was going to be one)

It's a little OP though since ammo capacity is far too high for it, but nevermind. I personally rolled with a Falcon, not surew hy it's classified as an assault rifle; o'well.

Pretty much all of the higher end weapons are OP, and infact, I would rather classify the spike thrower as a sniper rifle rather than a shotgun.

I used the lazor thingie from the Prothean DLC the entire game, mostly due to it essentially being a ME1 weapon, complete with overheating and no ammo and whatnot. There's probably stronger stuff around but the game's easy enough without it.

That highly depends on the difficulty. You are unable to one-shot regular assault troopers near the end of the game on insanity with the black widow unless you shoot them in the head(with all damage bonuses from armour, upgrades, weapon parts and liara upgrades too) so it's more under than overpowered. On any other difficulty or earlier in the game it's pretty much lolwtfbbq.
I completely forgot to rant about the shotguns! What is up with the non-existent range?

Not quite certain why they removed the ability to hack terminals, or bypass doors (the minigame).

I am mostly playing the multiplayer.
There i have no problem with the Geth shotgun tho. on Silver it oneshots most of the basic units from halfway across the map.
In my oppinion:
Sniper: Too heavy Not efficient at medium range.
Assaultrifle. : Besides the Falcon they prettymuch all suck
Smg: All suck.
Shotgun : pretty decent close range.
Heavy pisol: Pretty awesome at all ranges.
the Asari Adept is rediculous tho.
With just a handgun wich results in 200% power recharge
Throw takes care of everything without a shield. and can be spammed like every second.
Stasis bubble is soooooo awesome. its a panic button for pretty much anything. and a great disabler for whole hordes of enemies.
What dous bother me tho is that in the Demo peopel tried to play together. now 50% of the time only one or two people help hacking by staying inrange. and there is ALWAYS some tool dying on the other end of the map because he is an idiot.

That happens a lot. I've been fairly fortunate and I'd say that in about 60% of the games I play, the team works together. That said, I did participate in a couple of silver matches last night where high-level vanguards were killed on level 1 for running off. The real problem is that people don't know their limitations. Rushing off solo on Silver is pretty much a death sentence.
As to the weapons, I concur the Geth Shotgun is amazing. I unlocked it yesterday and have had a great time with it. I like the damage the Claymore does as well, but find the single-shot aspect diminishes the gun's value.
Speaking of pistols, I really like the Carnifex and Talon. I have gotten many kills with both weapons. Sometimes that is all I will take as a Turian soldier.
For adepts and sentinels, I stick with ultra-light-modded SMGs or maxed Avengers. Gotta love the 200% power regen rate.
On a final note, I'm glad the Goliath weekend is over. I'm so sick of Banshees, especially since I promoted my Adepts and Sentinels.
