There are a few places if I recall correctly...
For example, you can only overpower Morinth if you've gone either full Paragon or full Renegade.
Which means losing a possible squadmate with an awesome special.

@Adrius, but it's not like I could recruit her in the first playthrough anyhow(internet said it is impossible to recruit Mornith in the first playthrough, dunno if it is true). My second was my complete snow playthrough and after I recruited Mornith I decided "snow it" cause the snow had no char development whatsoever. "Thank you for the special and all that, now bye!"

I manage to pull the good/bad slider to the max but always with great effort. I mean I try to be good but when you loot a hotel and a freaking Rodian appears behind the door you just lightsaber'd AND the first dialouge option is "Time to die bug-face!!" you are COMPELLED by the laws of physics to kill him...

Lol tried to go full renegade biotic in ME 1, but ended up having around 60% renegade and 40% paragorn, I'm not cut-out to be an ass it seems  , whereas in games like Oblivion I have no moral issues with decimating a few villages

**** I can't argue here cuz I remember nothing about the game haha  Gotta replay it again soon... been thinking about moving my ME experience from the 360 to the PC... replay all the games...
I remember freaking out over the fact that saying that the Krogan plague was neccessary was totally Renegade... I don't see the "evil" side about it really...
And Bioware considers Renegade evil, the fact that doing Renegade acts make your face crack and gives you red eyes in a totally not Sith way removed all doubt...

Yeah, I hated that too. Fixed my face with the medical equipment. snowing BioWare could only go one game without "Good-Evil" scale but instead a "Lawful-Chaotic" scale...I guess they just could not quit smoking.

I found the facial tearing pretty funny.
Full Renegade should have also given Shepard a machine like voice

I'm mentally incapable of going full renegade,it's a real ****, because Shepard has some funny lines in renegade options.

Agreed completely
When an injustice to deal with comes, I do it and earn paragon points. But when someone from my team acts arrogantly I shut him/her up, or when something wanted from me seems totally unnecessary I turn it down I earn renegade points. So being a full Paragon demands you to be a idiot which anyone can exploit, while being a full Renegade demands you to be a senseless a*s.

Well ME3 ain't that far away now 
Got a good price on ME1 and 2 so I ordered them for the PC, been wanting to move my Mass Effect experience from the 360 to the PC for a while now.
Should have my Shepard ready for import by release... gonna be nice to have the story in fresh memory. Man I'm excited...!

I just can't wait for ME3! But it makes me pretty mad that they said that the demo would be out in January and then it will be released liked the 14th of February...

It just makes me mad Bioware chose to pull its games out of Steam. Even DA2 is gone, although I have it in my library. The same thing with Crysis 2.
The games' hardcopies come very late to Turkey So I won't be able to play the game instantly.

I went with tali, only because Miranda is a test-tube baby without a personality, jack is a chestless dude, haven't bought the DLC so liara isn't an option. Okeer is dead (spoiler) so I cannot pick him, the mercenary is deformed. (I wouldn't mind a threesome with the irish twins though) And the rest are far too out of the way for me to be able to build any sort of feelings for them.
And Tali openly opposes my belief that geth are actually hot, so I pick the feisty runt, simples.
As for the music? I loved ME 2's intro music (if you leave it blank long enough) ME1's music has that 'sad eternal void' tint to it.

Hey you could go with Liara if you played the first game.
Of course if you cheated on her in the 2nd game she might flay your skin off biotically in ME3 but... yeah
My Shepard only went with Tali. I will survive the drama.
