Haven and Inferno are the most boring races to play. But it's a question of tastes.

Funnily for the very first time in HoMM history I actually enjoy playing Haven as well  Their cores are rather weak but here the sum truly is greater than the parts ^^ Glories are great and Sun Crusaders are interesting and good units, rather than them doing half of your entire army damage as in in H5 which really annoyed me. Now if only the Griffins could get drain life.. ;P

Their theme by J. Graves is one of the best in any Heroes ever also.

Heroes III + graphic design + area of control + town portals + town conversion + might creatures/magic creatures + racial abilities
and
VOILA!!!!!!!!!!
useful specializations, diverse heroes, rmg, random leveling system so you don't end with the same build all the time, many factions, mage guilds and FUN!
