Yes, thanks, Kis, for this interesting encounter saturated with plenty of emotions Fortunately, i was able to overcome serious handicap at the beginning of the game and to find a home for my elven arrow in Kis neck... I appreciate the lessons Kis taught me about recklessness and i plan to play better next time
I'm glad that we finally started and could finish the game in this week as intended. Hopefully, on next Sunday we will have different digits on the scoreboard
Let's reload our guns and have plenty of mutual bashing in the next week

It still BAFFLES me why you guys still list strikes outs with the heroes. Since you guys dont do it as it should be done and actually USE the hero that strike out gave you. Since you DO NOT use them.. why not list your strike outs more like the following....
Strider Kispagat
Inferno Haven
Necro Sylvan
Inferno Dungeon
Sylvan Fortress
Necro Haven
I am not trying to flame anyone here.. just I got screwed in one of My Ceasar games by the illusion of the how the first strike out was listed. I was new to using Strike out system and since the heroes were listed.. I used common sense and actually used my hero as Main.. to my suprise couple weeks into game I see my opponent running around with a totally different Main hero... haggash nun the less. And even tho I now know that it is the standard to not use the heroes.. it still makes NO sense to even list them... So I am really curious why the 2nd strike out example I listed is not the standard used??

Ye, this is the final standing of our armies and the reason Kis resigned. After the win at center garrison i acquired also the ring of speed, helmet of dwarven kings and dragon sword. But most importantly, the reason for victory was in formidable difference in army sizes due to my extra 2 mega dwellings...
I'm sure Kis will try to give me my own medicine in the next game

I predict Strider is gonna ban Orsson setups, and probably Grawl - Ellaine will be the chosen match-up if the knowledge is decent around the map.

I expect the fat man would actually be quite a force on twilight with the levcel 2 population.
To Jinxer the reason to list heroes even if not to be used is simple, What are you more likely to strike out.. ortress Ingvar or FOrtress Brand?

Jinxer, if you don't understand/like the strikeout system just don't use it. No need to whine about it in every thread. I've played 90% of my games via this method, and so far everybody was satisfied with it from those who I asked for a game, so claiming that it makes no sense is simply not true.

You are making my point exactly!! Lets say I strike out Ingvar for obvious reasons and that leaves my opponent stuck with Brand-Fortress... and we start game and he find igvar in tavern and hires him and uses him as Main ... lol... So what was point in strikeing ingvar???
@ Clayman... first of all.. not sure who peed in your wheaties.. but you NEED to READ my threads before you start bashing a person. I was not whining.. I was asking a legitimate question to the players that use this system. I like the system.. and have used it my self. I merely would like to know why people insist on listing the heroes when they are not required to use them. It boils down to you only use the towns and pick what ever hero you want anyways. So why not simply list the towns in the strike out.. Its fairly simple question... no whining.. no complaining. I simple honest Question.
I realize it seems fun to jump on the band wagon of bashing and flaming Jinxer every time he posts.. I have been a member of this Board since 1 week after it was opened... I would like to think I am still allowed to make posts...
Where has all the so called Honor of you people gone that you can ONLY flame and bash certain people, without actually reading or caring about what the player actually writes. Just see that its Jinxer posting.. so lets just start discrediting anything he says.

No need to flame - but it has got nothing to do in this brilliant finals thread - you could just look up the old thread where this was discussed and read the replies there (and continue it if you like). I think both Destro and myself argued quite clearly why it makes sense as it is. But - you have every right to think otherwise.

It's a matter of chance. Thing is that if a strong hero appears in strikeout you are guaranteed to block him, if he's weak there is a small chance he'll get a better one.

But your not guarenteed to block him... since you can hire him if he shows up in tavern anyways.
Oh well.. never mind.. it really isnt that important. Back on Topic.. I will just shut up as everyone wants.

You are looking for guarantees in a game where chance plays an important role? It only decreases chance of unfair matchups and that's all there is to it.

Yes, this will be the setup. This afternoon Strider decides, which color he is playing, and we start 2nd game around 21.00, 9.5 hours from now.

New game has began.
Both players changed his main, so now Klaus vs Alastor. Shipyard battles are over.
16 red hat shooters and 3 hell chargers are the mian losses. Tomorrow game continues.
