Quote: Well, the consclusion is simple. I will not make any comments during the play, except for possible time schedule questions or rule-problems, or lagging things.
But we never chat in game anyway, except those abrupt battle comments. The game runs in utter silence with "s" at end of turn and maybe that's why those single lines are so memorable hehe In this game my favorite your expressions were:
In shipyard garrison:
me: unbelievable-exp light with dungeon
you: get used to it
Death garrison after death blow and bash eliminating last chance to save champs: "nice"
Middle of final battle:
me: did you notice that our morale trigger equally?
you: that is natural for me
They look funny but in heat of battle the emotions are escalated and such remarks certainly are not diplomatic. That's why i always kind of apologize or write smth about being very lucky if the misfortune happens to opponent. But your actions were on the other side of scale...
Anyway, if you look back, i didn't mention my annoyance in the first after-game post. Only when i read about you beating me twice and boasting of your dungeon skill, i couldn't resist to write that poisonous reply. Especially, because in both victories i lost to wonders of probabilities and not you. So, cute comments throughout game, final and forum was too big test for my heated emotions hehe
Ofc, i reported game as "honorable" without a question - no worries there. See you tonight
P.s. Elvin, relax... if you want silence then don't act contradictory. What did you think my reaction would be to "cheap shots" etc?

See? You are doing it again and my patience is wearing thin. And if such things scarred your soul on such a grand scale you should seriously see what happens with valky

Ok, ok, let's drop this.
I think Strider's referring to the soap here ...

What amazes me most in this game, is the "full creeping orientation" of the heroes. Final battle wise, those two heroes are sooooo "weak", that it makes me wonder if the skill sacrifices, were worth the extra creeping speed gained.
Also Kispagat's troop numbers are quite impressive, would be interesting to see the battle with necro garrison victims included , I suspect it would be a close one...

If u have a look at the map, you will understand that skill setups. I chose light and wm together to avoid next suicide, but I think it was quite reasonable.
I think Strider decided to take wm after some losses at the beginning, and I must tell you it was a big relief for me. I was afraid that he will choose defence instead, I think that would end my ceasar carrier.

Yesterday nite we started our 4th game. We both took shipyard garrison, and as usual I suffered a bit more losses than Strider. This surely will be an interesting game, since the main heroes are: Helmar on his side, and Ylthin at my service.
Lets see what these godlike heroes may achieve here.

Interesting setup, for sure. On the first day i was offered Brand in tavern and decided to wait the next day. I noticed Ythlin in stables of opponent's camp and hoped that sunrise would grant me a decent protagonist to match the light maiden. And so it did with fierce Helmar
Seems that we are destined with absolute juxtaposition in this game as Kis has cursed ring negating my golden horseshoe. Garrison battles were interesting too. First, Kis effortlessly saved ponnies as no morale blessed my killer stacks and i had to switch my targets. I followed with battle in my own shipyard garrison and had lucky critical strikes compensating with abundance the lack of morale.
So far we both advance without serious obstacles but i suspect that Kis schedule advantage of a day will increase over time due to unavoidable difference in logistics. Will see what i can offer to counter this...

nice - i look forward to the replays, especially the Ylthin Shipyard garrison since i have managed to mess up there TWICE against Zilo with Ylthin. Nice setup aswell, will be most interesting if you can avoid suicides

I hope this game will have a final battle, as I am curios about the ups&downs of dwarfs in real tote games, as in arena they are a top gun despite the fact that they have the smallest army per real growth.
I suppose in real games, Sylvan should be a little faster around the map, but it will be interesting to see if that will be enough to win the game

Yes but in real map sylvan can get the favoured of its choice. Thanes and priests are set on the map, not sure about magmas.

Indeed... on a real map.. Fortress is extremely hard to creep with first couple weeks.. Fortress isnt that great offensivly unless you can get the game to go into week 7... Before that Sylvan and most other towns STOMP them easily.

This was a surprise attack, but also I was surprised that it happen. To catch Helmar without his army it was very important that sim turn ended giving me, player 1, option to move my rest movement points. If sim turn ends with an extra day movement for blue player, the whole story could be different.
Now the situation is great for me, 15 thanes are great loss. But the battle is not over.
Also, after Helmar's surrender I attacked Havez, a secondary hero. He surrendered also. We will see if Helmar is available in the tavern. I hope not

Yeah, games with Kis are amazing experience. Funny, couple of seconds on either direction and i would have been back to portal or long distance from his hero. It is especially painful because i had lost only 20+ defenders and 4 skirmishers in all game and crept flawless. I was on my way to balrogs to even levels with Kis. Sims broke couple of tiles from my home portal hehe
Now, chances are completely opposite... Seems that Kis is my nemesis - i can do as good as i may but some strange accident decides to win the game instead of opponent
Fred, is this "unjust luck accusation" or you can see the funny irony?

Strider, quit your whining, and concentrate on playing better next time. Blaming it on luck will only help you lose the next game also, actually if I were you, I would take into consideration the possibility that Kispagat actually was counting on such an event to happen, and was planning this surprise attack .

Turn time with my and his fights were around hour... Did he count it to the last second? hehe My hero was running and the sims broke when i was passing by Stormlord block... As we play with max speed settings, 1 second later i would be gone or 2 seconds before that i wouldn't have started moving
His surprise attack was in general to enter my territory, not to have sims broken when we stand several tiles away and his movement has almost ended, right?
