Well the pairs are randomly generated and you'll get pairs like this.

Strike out went on like this:
Kispagat 3
Strider 1
Kispagat 2
Strider 4
So there are five possible matches. Now each player can choose to 2 matchups he doesn't want to play (for whatever reason he sees fit). As you can see Kispagat didn't want to play Alastor vs. Svea and Grawl vs. Deirdre. Strider simply chose the ones he didn't like and since you start with 5 matchups one will remain that neither of the players kicked out so that will be the final matchup for the game to be played. Easy, really.

According to type of map and starting heroes no it's not. Some starting heroes are worthless, others Gods and some factions have advantage in lategame.

That's why i prefer to choose hero, not relay on luck ... Random hero is pure luck, strike out system is another way to ban good heroes, and still leave a lot of luck to decide the outcome of game ... But any method of play Heroes5 is good if people get fun from this ...

Ye, what's wrong with the off-topic, guys?? Jinx started this again but all the rest who followed are not better forum rules followers hehe
About garrison battle where i lost 3 horses... It is simply unbelievable how Kis manages to use his special "lucky sucker" skill in each game vs me  After watching his peculiar moves for 1.5 hours and already celebrating no losses in garrison, his minotaurs got morale and sent my hellmares running in fiercer lava fields

Yeah, I noticed that around 11 PM Strider becomes negligent, and does not calculate on my luck or morale. But he should... Anyway, this fight for coldblooded players only, its extremely long. My basic tactics was the shoot them to hell. But Strider managed to get consume corps, so it was much ado about nothing, untill the last, and - if I remember coprrectly - only morale in my side.

Yesterday after few hours of playing Strider told me, we order a save in next turn. I said oki.
Next turn he ordered the save, but after a while, he said, that he needs to make a very hard decision, so we should rely on autosave, and after several minutes of discussions he quitted. We agreed that we play today at 20.30. I was online from 6. I asked him around 20 whether we will play today. He said, yes 20.30 as agreed.
At 20.30 I had some problems joining to hama, but it solved, and than following msn conversation came:

Most of conversation I can understand. On one side you have a live coverage of match, on other save you can continue any time, not just that specific time. So for me its ok. On nights when my basketball club is playing, I don't even log in.

This is so easily exploited in so many ways, and considering his reputation, I would demand to finish that move or report a loss. Or suicide and d/c 
Well, that just me. But then again, how many time you get a chance to be one step to finals.
