ubisoft is the producer... and the ones who have the rights... no matter if another company is in develoment of heroes 6 if ubisoft wants this on heroes 6 they will put it on...

Don't have much faith in the whole petition project ... but I heartily support that it's rediculous and a sign of very poor judgement that one needs to be online to play single player games.

That said before I went to bed the petition had 300 signatures and this morning it had reached 400. The result is irrelevant but ubi will know we are pissed with their frantic reactions. Also with all those mails and articles the awareness grows and it all will reflect on ubi's sales cut. They may choose to ignore us but they'll still have to deal with the consequences.

Here is an interview between Ubi and PC Gamer. The short version is that they have noticed the outcry, they don't give a frak and that they are confident that their protection will last a while before it gets cracked. Rigid short-sighted fools if I ever saw any

That is inconsistent with ubi claiming to be able to make a patch given ubi stops supporting the game via the web.

My god... It sounds like they failed to understand the idea of cloud computing and that not every computer in the world has or is even supposed to have an access to the internet. Also, internet connections tend to break down from time to time. And what can we get in reward?...

Servers that won't be able to handle the numbers of players forced to come online. Ubi servers aren't exactly known for their quality. Just check the forums on Ubi... people complain over server crashes almost everywhere and that's only from the people who play over the net because they want to... now add the single player people aswell lol.

Good point ohfor.
I wonder if many people will return Assassins Creed 2 when it doesn't work for them. This may cause problems at stores because you cannot return opened software.

Also homm games are know with that players play them for years, what when Soft: Ubi go bancrut? (And is going to happen soon after they do this, their games don't have the quality go keep them with this... they are not Blizzard...). Damn, bring back the NWC team and JVC!

Sounds like they are challenging us er...I mean the pirates to crack it the first day the game with that system comes out.
