"It is my old crew on board there. Most of Coldraven's sailors were once mercenaries and privateers, not the bratty children picked straight out of the Noble castes because of extra pay and politics. Of course, he also has the Imperial Marine Guard on there, but their loyalty is to the Emperor, not to Coldraven. If he's dead along with his personal guard and some others, the ship is ours." said Arcturus. He placed his hand on his gun and then continued. "Unfortunately, it doesn't seem we will get that far. The crew isn't happy, I take it?"

Arcturus sighed. "I was afraid it would come to this. One of my favored officers is dead and the other is lying in is bed with his nose-"
"Captain!" yelled a crewmember named Burto as he charged into the cabin, all wet from the wind and rain outside. "Bellerusse! Eduardo! They've started fighting!"
"WHAT!?" replied Arcturus as he strode out of the cabin. "Dammit, all I wanted was some order on this ship! Simon! Burto! Come with me!"

Simon drew both of his blades at once. "Sir!" he yelled and stood between both men. When the group got to the door, Simon struck out with almost viper-like speed, ramming one blade into the base of Burto's skull and throwing himself behind the captain at the same time, getting him into a headlock.
"Don't even twitch, captain." Simon moved his blade so that it touched Arcturus's throat.
Alaric noticed the sounds of the scuffle first. Plan has to be moved ahead of schedule. With this thought, he picked up his pre-loaded rifle and holstered his double-barreled pistols and moved on to the deck.
He killed one of the men guarding Arcturus's door first, crying out, "NOW!"
And then all hell broke loose.

"Simon...I trusted you..." said Arcturus as he sighed.
Davaian and Kalthak sprang out of the hold and killed a couple men loyal to Arcturus and went to Simon. Davaian pulled out his cutlass and looked at Arcturus straight in his eye. He then looked up at Simon and said, "Good job. But keep him alive. We'll need him sent over to the Eagle's Pride if we are to lose them. If we kill him, they won't know that he is dead and we'll still be attacked. Don't worry, he told me too. Perhaps he should learn not to trust the man whose family was killed on his orders."

"Davian, how badly do you think they will treat him when we give them their prize?" A knife had appeared from Simon's sleeve, and he pressed it against Arcturus's back. "Drop your weapons, captain, and order your men to do the same."

"Coldraven? Surely you have heard the stories about that murderer. He'll wish he wasn't born." replied Davaian with a grin.
Arcturus dropped his guns and his rapier, as well as dirks. He then yelled out, "MATES! It is over. Drop your weapons. Its better that you stick with them and live than die for me. I certainly wouldn't do the same for you."

As the Revenant drew ever nearer the Maelstrom with the Eagle's Pride still hot on their tails, the mood aboard grew more and more tense for each day. The crew's frustration and bitterness increased and changed ino anger and discontent. They also began to tire of running away and their thrust in the captain was wavering. Dangerous conditions wich could lead to mutiny.
Willhelm still shackled to the helm too grew both impatient and uncertain but also, for the first time in years, insecure. The Captain's secrecy, the hostility between the gun-chief and the navigator and the constant presence of the Fortrind Man-o-War. All of this helped feed the flames that was brewing amongst the crew. Willhelm had managed to, even though he was shackled, get someone to bring him his guns. And now they both hanged around his waist locked and loaded, ready for action should a situation arise which demanded that he defended himself.
Suddenly all hell broke loose on the ship. A sailor came running from the gundeck towards the captain's quarters and shouted as soon as he opened the door.
-Captain! Bellerusse! Eduardo! They've started fighting!
-WHAT!? Rreplied the Captain as he strode out of the cabin. Dammit, all I wanted was some order on this ship! Simon! Burto! Come with me!
Willhelm flinched and cursed the sea gods for bringing this disastes upon them. Mutiny was now almost a certainty. And to make matters worse, as soon as the captain got to the door that blasted bard swung out and killed the sailor before threatening to cut the captain's throat.
-"Don't even twitch, captain. Simon moved his blade so that it touched the captain's throat. And soon after men led by the navigator and the new raid chief swarmed across the deck killing of the captain's men one after one, while the sound of running feet came from the gundeck below.
-Bloody d@mn elfling gonna haave us all killed. Willhelm grumbled. If the Captain dies then what are we gonna do about that warship.
-Simon...I trusted you... Said the captain as he sighed

All over the deck weapons fell down as the captain's men surrendered at the same time the gun-chief and his men got to the deck, weapons at the ready and draging the cold body of the navigator with them.
-Is it all over? who won the fight?! The gun-chief asked first thing as he reached the scene.
-yes it's over for now gun-chief. Willhelm answered with a relief. And fortunately for you, the captain lost. Or else I reckonyou would have been chained in the brig if not hanged. He chuckled seemingly content that the mutiny ended swiftly with little bloodshed and the fact that they could buy off their chasers.

Zayl heard all the ruckus going on but didn't bother to check it. He was busy brewing his antidotes. For what he overheard, it sounded that the captain is overthrowed.
"Maybe it was a good thing that Nurgunnen had his head blown"- He thought.

"I say-" Simon was about to agree before he saw Lianna's door open. "I'm going to have to wait on that..." Alaric walked up and took his place.
"Go." The sniper told him, pointing his guns at the back of Arcturus's head. "This man is getting no-where soon."
"... Thank you, Alaric." Simon ran over to the cabin as Lianna came out, wrapping her in a warm embrace and spinning her around. She laughed lightly, more out of relief and joy than any amusement. Most of the crew looked away when the two shared a long kiss.
"See, I told you I'd come back." He whispered, holding Lianna close. "And don't I always keep my word?"
"Well, there was that one time..."
"Now come on! Sirens posses people, and I couldn't resist their magic, the weak male that I am! Are you ever going to let that-" Simon was barely keeping in a laugh.
"Well, no. I don't think that I will, even if was grow to be one-hundred and are happily married." Lianna seemed to think for a second, "Now, you were planning on that, right Simon?"
She laughed when he made, (What most people assumed to be), a joking search for an escape rout or rock to climb under, but, finding neither, sighed and pulled out the ring that he had 'Borrowed' from the ex-captain. (Never said that he returned it, did I.  )
Going onto one knee, Simon held up the ring. "Lianna, today is a day of new beginnings and new relationships. I cannot promise you perfection, nor happiness, nor joy, nor, at the moment, children. But what I can promise you is that I will be more perfect, bring you more joy, more happiness and hopefully fewer children than any other man you will meet. An with you, I already feel like the luckiest man alive. So, Lianna, the love of my long life, will you be my bride?"
Well, what do you think she said?
Damn straight she said yes. A few pirates clapped for the new couple until they disappeared into their cabin.
"Alright, yes, the cute little couple is gone now." Alaric called out. "So what are we going to do with him?"

Arcturus raised an eyebrow and said,"Hell, that snow stole my ring!"
"Shut up, you." said Davaian. "We're gonna send you over to the Fortrinds. Sounds fun, right?"
"At least give me a blade so I, can die valiantly."
"Only because you are allowing this to go smoothly." replied Davaian as he handed Arcturus's rapier to him. "Alaric, send this rapscallion over to those Fortrind pigs in the leaky rowboat."

Taking four steps back from the overthrown captain, Alaric gestured for him to move towards the lifeboats. "Let's go, you. One twitch that I don't like, and the Fortrinds get their prize with a mangled leg and sword arm."
((so I'm assuming that I get to auto Arcturus here?))
Alaric led Arcturus to the ship and made sure he got in it securely before shooting the rope that held it up. the lifeboat hit the water with a violent splash and both oars fell out. Giving Arcturus one last salute, ('For going to die as a brave man, not a coward,' he told those that asked later) Alaric moved back to the helm.
"Now what?" he asked the officers. "Who's in charge?"

"We turn this ship around! And we will take that ship, their gold, their supplies and their cargo as our prize!"
A large portion of the crew, mainly Eduardo's guncrew, cheered.

- I don't care about the Pride's crew. I'll kill them one by one if I have to.- The hidden blades from Zayl's bracers sprung up. He showed them to the crew and then the blades retracted.- Death to the emperor's lapdogs. Will two flasks be enough?- He asked.

"Wait to see if us offering the prize they seek freely stops them." Alaric cautioned. "We will need every crew member that we can get if we continue this mad venture. Also, I wouldn't mind the thought of Arcturus suffering horribly for a few weeks before he is killed. Let's not fight if we don't have to."

After a couple of minutes, loud screaming was heard from the Eagle's Pride as it turned about and went away from the Revenant. The baron had received his prize and was no longer interested in chasing a pirate ship through stormy waters.
